I think the Cadillac CUE system has got a lot of bad media publicity but I have this vehicle and have had absolutely nil problems with the touch screen .
I think you did a great job with this comprehensive look at the technology package in this vehicle. I have yet to come across car reviews that spend even a fourth the time looking into the technology package which leaves you wondering at best what it has to offer. Thanks Lew!

Thanks! I just ordered one of these and was curious how to recharge the key. Key recharging seems to be an issue with the keyless systems. I had an issue with my BMW key dying because I didn't put it in the ignition often enough to recharge (it was too easy to keep it in my pocket!).

I’m in SE MN I have a 14 ats performance trim rwd and it’s fine in the snow. I don’t drive much in the snow and not when the weathers bad out. I have an 05 STS4 for that.
Most car reviews talk about dynamics and other stuff, but noone ever talks about the bits you actually get to fiddle with and use day to day. I have seen a bunch of reviews on this car and noone bothered to mention the usb port behind the display.

Azi DeSent you got a blue as well? Paid $15600 plus tax with 98000km for 2013 ats 2.0t It doesn't have the big GPS screen and no sunroof. But interiors still lovely. Any issues with the car? What oil do you use
Toronto_NDN I I got red AWD turbo Top trim like the same exact one in this vid.. with 49k miles and i paid 16000 I had to replace the screen but it was under warranty and I haven't had to put oil in it yet lol
Amazing car
I just bought one and have issues with door locking mechanism. When it locks and some time passes, the remote control does not immediately open the doors. This causes issues if living in cold climate where you need to get into the car as soon as you reach it.
I disable the Passive door Lock but no luck.

how's the CUE working for you ? I'm wondering if I should get it now or wait till the 2014 comes out maybe they have fixed CUE quirks and other bugs of the car?
Compared to some other people who reviewed this car, you really make me to want this car. Frankly speaking its a Gorges car, but the touch everything center console in the middle kind makes me give it a second thought, you cant look down there when driving, they should have proper knobs and buttons - much safer and effective.

Can the lane departure effect be disabled? Just curious for those who don't use their turn signals (I do ALWAYS but just curious). Does the lane departure eventually turn off after you switch lanes without signaling?

Audio level auto adjust was in Mazda 6 too, with Bose stereo. It was in my 2007 Mazda 6.

Fyi, the premium performance is the top trim level before you get an atsv! Also the 3.6 engine is a monster for just a v6! I bought a used 2015 Cadillac certified in 2019, absolutely love it! Not your grandpaps caddy anymore!!! Lol. Also the dealer put an upgraded cue in my car at time of purchase and i have no issues as described in reviews!!! None!!! Also all metal trim and paddle shifters are magnesium!

I think the new Dodge Charger has that audio feature also so you don't have to re-adjust the volume when changing terrain, my friend has it and I've noticed it, it's pretty cool.

My 2008 Audi A4 has the SVC (Speed Volume Control) and the Auto depending on the noise there is. With the SVC manual you can set how much you want it to go up.
