“The sound of onions sizzling in a pan” I LOVE HIM OMG
@Pablo de Sarasate Ya I saw Eddy's face and brightened up at once lol
He said that to Obama at the White House, too!
He seems like a really chill and down to earth guy.
Indeed
"Know who you are, don't pretend to be somebody you are not"
"What is your favorite pastime?' "Eating :)" ME
Me too
Same lol
Mr. Perlman you are the best!!!!
I love how his smile hasn’t changed in like 50 years
45’ was a great year for Bordeaux indeed! I love how he cuts right through the absurdity of that question
Amazing question... (facepalm)
What’s so absurd about asking what very important historical event happened during 1945.. it’s knowledge that’s important to remember
He’s so wholesome and cute!! And he seems very content with his life. Love him ❤️
Hey, twosetter
A beautiful person. A beautiful player. You can see God's love shining through him and through his music. Thank you Mr. Perlman for generously blessing us with the gift of your violin playing and your kindness.
He did not mention God one time.
wish him longevity for centuries and wish him continues to be healthy and happy for the rest of his life!
Itzhak Perlman is one of the most adorable legends on earth.
Everything about Perlman is amazing. What a wonderful and talented person. My two favorite men in the world are Perlman and David Garrett.
Every time I see Mr Perlman, he is JOYOUS. He has mastered How-to-Enjoy-Life. I so want to go for a walk with him and his dogs and then chat over coffee or wine. I think that would keep me from frowning for a week. He is a beautiful soul.
No one:
Itzhak Perlman: Onions sizzling in a pan!!
Interesting fact: he said this to Obama and Obama used this as an anecdote shortly after awarding Itzhak with the Presidential Medal of Freedom
Lovely, one of the best interviews ever, life-enhancing for everyone, his natural humor and honesty is wonderful.
2:27 The way he held is little finger with all the others up. That's some insane fourth finger strength!
love his sense of humor
He has such a lovely laugh
Bravo and Vivat for our Great Maestro and Violinist Mr I. Perlman !
Beautiful! Mr Perlman please keep playing in the next couple of hundred years please..
He speaks with his hands.
...and sings!
and cries
and eat and listen to onion sizzling
You come across as bring such a nice kind person. We already love you for your talent. Wish we had more people like you in the world.
Mr. Perman,What a wonderful voice!
I love this man he is so cool
be nice ❤️ te amo Itzhak Perlman ✌️
thank you brother.. 🙏
This man has the most amazing eyes, sparkling with intelligence and zest for living, totally at ease with himself, all of his life’s challenges resolved in the most positive ways imaginable. His wife has the very same look in her eyes….amazing!!
The GOAT
What's your strength? - "Slow movements" HAHA LMFAO
You know he meant slow movements of a piece right
@@pokedudes8961 Double entendre perhaps? You're probably right but he's a very clever man, so you never know.
He succeeded where others haven’t because ….. he worked harder.
i can hear him talk all day
Herr Perlman is the best.
That is very interesting... Maestro Itzhak Perlman....i love Your voice!💐🎻❤️
Thank you very much!
So good!!
Truly one of my favourites violinist.....Also ¿THE 3 STRINGS STORIE IS NOT REAL?
Very interesting! You can very beautiful voice Maestro Ithzak Perlman 🎻 🌷 ♥️
Most inspiring, and appetizing.
I feel like I know you and wish I did. I am two years older than you and feel and affinity because you do not take yourself seriously (although you are most certainly serious). Thank you for lighting up the world.
Very interesting Maestro Ithzak Perlman ♥️ 🎻❣️🌹
Je ne comprends pas.... Mais Vous êtes si sympathique Monsieur Itzhak Perlman. 🎶🎁🎶🌷 😁
Hope 1 day can meet him n take a selfie together with him.
Un genio :)
The funny thing is i know what this means but I dont know if its french or italian
@@angels5449 Spanish
@@jitsingh5492 oh. ohk. oh.
No way!! I hate traveling too!!! I've never met anyone like this and I feel so heard
motto: practice slowly
i hate the drilling also. last Friday there was construction workers right outside my window at 8:30am because my apartment building is renovated and woke me up. I was so mad. I love eating too.
Me too I was so tempted to fucking like slap the guy who drill 😂😂
03:14 just viewed/heard the "Lyric Suite" my first time. Thanks for the tip.
His accent keeps getting more and more American
I relate to him so much except I need to practice more
What I want to see is a person who can hate this man. Then I would've seen everything
If I had a wish for Itzhak Perlman, it would be to send him back in time to watch Antonio Stradivarius build the Messiah Strad…and upon his return explain the magic.
i wouldn't ask this, but i'd like to see someone ask him - "how would your career have been different if you hadn't contracted polio?". probably wouldn't have been much different, obviously it didn't affect his upper body. seems like there may have been psychological differences which could have affected his manner of playing a bit. anyway, we're all lucky he is the kind of person that was able to overcome his challenges to give us a lifetime of beautiful fiddling playing.
Judging by his won words here ("I hate travelling "), one can assume that the travelling and the hotel stays would be a lot more enjoyable for him.
Fun 4 minute interview! Maestro Perlman is such a salt of the earth guy. PBS "American Masters" did a 90 min. episode on Perlman two years ago, and it's really worth seeing:
www.pbs.org/video/itzhak-otldjz/ (however, it expires on 09/30/2020, so watch it ASAP!)
"Slow movements..."What?? What about his splendid fast stuff??!!!
Well if you wanna ear something played fast , Heifetz was playing everything fast lol
I love Perlman for his romantism and sound in slow movement , that's what makes him my favourite violonist
What about: "How does it feel to be the best violinist ever?"

I feel like most of his answers involves food
He hates traveling! Oh no!
You have itzhak Perlman and then you have all those other people in this series also considered "pros" which makes me feel uncomfortable
But still, there are many actual pros in this series
Love Mr Perlman but absolutely hate this interview format
What 's this terrible background music !!??? : ((.... One doesn't hear Perlamn's replys !!
