Just came here to say the same. Still not a great fan of AC. Funneling ventilation through the engine compartment isn’t effective. It always seems warm. I much prefer the side windows.
My first new car was a 1978 King Cobra with every option. I loved the T-tops.
The vented windowed doors were an easy entry for car thieves.
Fins and that spaceship looks.
First car was a 56 Chevy. Some day I'll get another.
Hidden gas caps and vent windows should be brought back.
Wing vents bring back the wing vents.
I liked the turn signal mounted on fender facing driver. My 76 Chrysler Cordoba was one of the best cars I owned. Don't build cars like they use to, held up forever it seemed.
My 66 thunderbird is the super comfortable. Having a dashboard map light is convenient. And the fly windows are the perfect "air conditioning"
Sealed beam headlights had one big benefit: they were cheap to replace. If you wanted good headlights you could add “driving/rally” lights.
I do miss the old manual choke on my Triumph Spitfire. It had a propeller printed on the knob!

the one i miss most is popup headlights they were the coolest my aunt had a 80s honda with popup lights and before i was into cars i loved that honda. tee removal of door rub strips is style over practicality cars were better when they had them it's extremly annoying coming back to your car finding that some idiot has chipped your paint with their door plus the cost to put it right witch i assume is the real reason car companies do it, i never minded the way they look and wish they would bring them back.

few cars in the 50s had built in hydraulic jack stands
My 1951 Ford V8 Pilot had hydraulic jacks.....in the UK
Some GT race cars still have this.
Would be a nice feature, but not much call from manufacturers to include such a system, as they don't want breakdowns anywhere near their image (haha, landrover), and they already removed the spare wheel for emissions reasons.
Miss wing windows
I miss t-tops, split bench seats, and vinyl roofs
Bench front seat was a great way to get your girl close to you.
Don't forget the "Opportunity Corner." If you had a bench seat in the pre-seat belt days, you could take a fast right turn and have the girl slide right next to you.
