    Very cool indeed I would love to try one! I had an old c-7 years ago, but the neck on it was really chunky

      You should! I actually sold mine, but it was a good guitar. I just realized I don't vibe with 7 strings, just a personal preference. The neck on the one I had was very playable and not too chucky, but it definitely was not at the Ibanez Wizard style neck thinness level. Hope ya sub! I also got a used one and I think the previous owner lowered the action bc it’s quiet low right now. I get crazy buzz on the top string which I need to get around to, but the rest of the strings are fine. Plus I use so much gain and distortion it’s hard to tell 😅

      Good point, the buzz might add some gristle tone to the mix. Mine was very high action to start, now it is in the sweet spot for letting those big cables swing and ring. Hope ya sub! ;)

    I put Fishman Fluenece Moderns in it and I love it, next I'm replacing the tuners, and I want a graphite saddle ToM as well. Have you done it all? How do you like it?

    • @JediJingleMaker
      @JediJingleMaker  Před 8 měsíci

      That is awesome and I really appreciated you letting me know how you like it with the sweet Fishman Pups in it. I am getting ready to modify mine, however I was also considering selling it as is to get an SLS elite 7 string, which I think would be ultimate butter in terms of playability. I like the guitar, but I know an SLS would be next level. What do you think? I hope you sub, also check out my original music on Spotify open.spotify.com/artist/1UoWGwMtYYUp7cEWNEWjl1

    Help! I just recently bought this guitar but my neck ain’t as yellow as I see everyone else’s guitar and the “diamond series” label on my head ain’t as big too, the serial number says 23 so I’m assuming it was made last year so it could just be a more newer model or maybe I just have a fake one, can anybody help with info

    • @JediJingleMaker
      @JediJingleMaker  Před měsícem +1

      My guess is that it is real because they are already relatively inexpensive guitars, so not much incentive for people to copy them. You made me curious so I went and looked at pics of the neck on used Demon 7s on Reverb and Guitar Center and it looks like some of the necks are very yellow, others look like a regular maple neck. This kind of variability is really typical IMO. Over the years, these companies change their processes. Hope this helps.

    Another beautiful guitar my man, I've heard of 7 strings guitars but have never seen or encountered any. I tend to stay away from the Guitar Center, cause I always seem to come home with something else to add to my collection. Which is quite comical to say the least. I'm not a real guitarist, I'm self taught, I have no musical theory, no structure, I basically play by feel. Wired right ?
    I went to a house concert one time and they said to bring your guitar, so I did. There were about 10 folks sitting around the room after the concert and I slipped into an empty chair, pulled my 6 string out and just sat and listened. One of the guys barked at me to join in, "come on, it's an easy song, jump in". "Hang on bra, I need to feel the room", lol. I jumped in the next song but had to read the energy before doing so. LOL !!!
    It was a lot of fun and the concert was top notch with a low key, high energy, your part of the family vibe.
    Very cool.

      I know, guitar center is like a black hole, sucks me right in, come out the other side with a guitar. You should know, Jimi Hendrix did not know how to read music, was self taught. Eddie, basically same idea. Me too. For me, overstudying music is like over studying a beautiful women, it is about the art, not the science. Music is a mystery, simple. No one can explain why music makes us feel things. It is like experiencing geometry with our ears, surreal. You wanna put down a solo on the collab track?

      Unfortunately, lead is not my thing.
      That would be cool and I would be so honored, but ......... lol.
      Not wanting to torture anybody, lol.
      I want my music to move people, but not by running away !!!
      Not what I had in mind. 🤣🤣🤣
      Plus I'm not very techy, I once sent a rendition of the David the Good song to DTG, but it never made the trip h and as far as I know, it's still out in cyberspace somewheres, lol. I don't know why but I envision some poor guy in India getting bombed with like 30, 000 videos like a giant spam attack !!!
      I don't mind this person sending me his music video, but why in bloody hell did he send it 30,000 times ?!?!?
      🤔🤔🤔🎶🎸🎶🤣🤣🤣
      I don't know, that's just where my mind goes, lol.
      PS ..... that was a beautiful description for music Sir Yoda, really rang true + the black hole analogy was freakin funny as sheet and spot on too. Woo hooo, been there my friend. 👉💥🛎👍 Peace

    OK Sir Yoda, 2 questions :
    1) Edagar + Ate + Dynamite
    Good + Bye + Edgar .......
    so what's the 7th string ???
    2) More of a suggestion than a. question, since you're going to be milling around on the back of the guitar anyways : why not flush mount the ID plate with a small router instead of removing it and just counter sinking the bolts ?
    Yeah counter sinking the bolts works, but looks kinda unfinished in my opinion and that beautiful guitar deserves the extra TLC to enhance the customization process me thinks.
    Just a suggestion to get the wheels turning, it's your baby and you have to live with it, lol.
    Anyways as always, thanks for sharing + great review, stay curious, Peace.

      7th string is for luck, of course! I really like you idea, but wow, that is gnarly. I actually told my buddy (has tools) and wow, gotta say, it is in the running.

  • @callsignscrottymcboogerballs88

    I have those pickups in my hellraiser 7 string , I got it that way in a trade ( hellraiser guitars come with emg ), for my ear and at high gain those pickups are great very clear not super compressed like duncan blackouts but even more organic less robotic like emg , other than locking tuners , maybe some minor fret work these demon guitars are incredibly solid , also I can tell this guitar doesnt connect with your usual demographic 😅

      @JediJingleMaker  Před rokem +1

      Rock on! Thanks and I am getting ready to make the purchase of the soap bar style Fishman Pickups. I am also getting ready to get the death metal pack and EZDrummer 3 so my demographic might change a bit, heh.

    7 strings is 1 string too many for me. I'll stick with my 6 stringer's, but it's still a nice looking Schecter. Looks like ny Omen-6 as in the same color with the stripe around the outer edge.

    • @JediJingleMaker
      @JediJingleMaker  Před rokem

      Yes, I would say the demon is an omen with active pickups basically. I was just looking at this one www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Reap6FRSKB--schecter-reaper-6-fr-s-satin-sky-burst

      @@JediJingleMaker I had a Reaper-6 a little while back. I had to sell it back to GC caise I did not like the tome I got out of the gjuitar. It is a beautiful guitar but when you are looking for tone this one couldn't handle it.

    • @JediJingleMaker
      @JediJingleMaker  Před rokem +1

      Yeah, need to either bail on the guitar or upgrade it. I can say the tone of my demon 7 will likely be 100% improved with a set of fishman fluence pickups installed in it. The guitar tone on the Schecter active pups does not compare to the better pups. Also, I am going to do some neck sanding work on it and more, really gonna super mod it. All new hardware, electronics, pups,
