Christmas
episode one❤
Re Lily Isaacs: There’s nothing wrong with being Jewish and not celebrating Christmas or believing in Jesus as Savior. You don’t have to convert to be worthy. God/goodness is inside all of us.
People can and should feel free to say happy holidays and winter break because THEY are free to not celebrate ‘christ’mas. I’m so sick of this attack on so called ‘politically correct speech’ … The hypocrisy. You just said we are the land of the free. Well we are a melting pot - meaning we don’t all celebrate the same religions or any religions at all. It is RIDICULOUS TO shove Christianity down the throats of every person in this country. Or proselytizing to the WORLD (more of whom are non Christian than are), Why don’t non Christians insist on calling it winter break? How is that not OK. But it is OK to be told that Jesus is to be forced upon those whom hold other faiths or none at all?
Saying ‘ Happy Holidays’ is about inclusiveness. It’s about recognizing that this season of the year is different for everyone. And one religion is not ‘better’ or ‘truer’ than another. As I understand, Christianity would say to encompass everyone. To make everyone feel included and loved. isn’t that ‘what Jesus would do?’
