- After being harassed by an online troll, Labour MP Stella Creasy was reported to social services by someone who opposed her political views. Whilst Stella was found not guilty of any crime, her name is still on a social services record due to the initial complaint. Stella joins us today to raise awareness on the impact malicious harassment can have and how the laws need to change to stop innocent peoples' names from being associated with non-existent crimes.

People who use social services as a means for harassment are the lowest of the low. It is a service that is to protect children, that is over stretched as it is without false allegations.
Stella Creasy's "politics" this man objected to was an amendment, which if it became law, would repeal Section 60 of the Offences Against the Person Act, which is currently used to make it illegal to hide the body of a dead newborn baby, including in circumstances when the baby has been killed through infanticide. Section 60 is also important in stopping individuals from preventing an investigation into the cause of a child's death when infanticide is suspected. She also believes in full term abortions and wants the termination of 9 month pregnancies to be made legal.

Reports/ information kept by all Authorities should legally be removed after a certain time but it’s not. That years old information, despite innocent & unconnected with future issues, can & will be used against you.

I totally support what she is trying to achieve. No child should be impacted. I completely agree with the records. I have had personal experience with these records. I work in SEN and my ex has made false safeguarding concerns. The record impacts what people think, my job and also transferring to a new school. But this issue also highlights that people with MH and SP should be given advocacy services via a complaint. To which they are not and if they are it is normally such an up hill battle. So as an MP i would like her to see both sides of this issue. Know the issue … not describe it as a rant! Put advocacy support in her constituency to help understand the issue then deal with it.
That does not condone harassment in any form but she has disclosed this man has communication issues. There is also no advocacy services in court unless you get legal aid.

Was she investigated and cleared by people who actually know her personally? I'm not doubting her innocence. But does she realize how many people, especially fathers don't even get a chance to answer the allegations against us. Does she realize how malevolent social workers are? I'm sorry for her situation. I really wouldn't wish it on anyone. If the person who made the allegation made it maliciously they should be held to account. When is she going to speak up for those maliciously targeted by social services

What is a MP? I’m in Chicago,IL.
It used to mean Member of Parliament. Nowdays not so sure. More likely means a spineless creature open to bribes, especially from the big corporations lobbying for abortion and how to harm society. Maybe some good eggs but unfortunately very few in UK politics.
