I literally got an L96 with the 16x scope and an m39 with an 8x after looting to locked crates at airfield, my friend leaked de code accidentally on discord and some dudes despawned everything. Now he's not my friend

Powerplant is always my favorite monument for easy loot. Several spots for green crates to spawn that aren't behind the blue or green card room. Much of which can be done without rad protection (just learn the rad areas). Seems to be less popular than water treatment or train yard so easier for starting out. It also has 3 recyclers (1 in the green card area). My go to fresh wipe monument.
1. Get a bow
2. Game on a kid who has a sar
3. game on a kid with an ak
4. Repeat step 2 and 3

This video is incorrect, you got the percentages by ADDING the chance of guns dropping from a crate all together
That is not how probability works, if you open 10 crates with 1% chance of a gun each that does not mean you have a 10% chance of getting a gun. It means that you have had 10 seperate 1% chances of getting a gun. These are not additive in any shape or form
This is extremely simple but if you don't believe me just play the game, how many times have you looted airfield and how many times have you gotten a gun? It sure as shit aint 62%

You have a 1/100 chance to roll X every roll. You do 10 rolls.
How is it not 10% chance you’ll end up rolling X in your rolling session?
@@Yikes_YT 10x 1/100 is a much harder roll than 1x 10/100
@@feluto7172 I just tried it by simulating 10 000 000 rolls and in both cases the average probability to hit the chance was about 10 %
One question, to get the numbers did you add the probabilities or multiply them? If you just add them it might make incorrect results.

Those numbers don't sound right at first but according to the official spawn rates they are right. I just calculated it myself.

How did you calculate these drop rates? Did you take the percentage per crate and multiply it with the number of crates at the given monument?
1-((1-x)^y) where x is chance to drop from a crate and y is the number of crates

can you do a video on the best places to find food? me and my friend always seem to be out of it and usually resort to starving to death and eating our corpses.
Buy corn seeds at outpost. 100 seeds for 100 scrap
Go to a river, plant all seeds at your base and clone the whole first batch of seeds and replant you should have a ton
Food sources: Corn & pumpkins near rivers, mushrooms in woodland areas, cactus in the desert, food crates by the side of the roads or in the supermarket. Also kill any animal you see for food, they give you loads, especially bears. 🙂
it would be good a video of tricks with the helicopter for get faster loot

-Go to “Outpost”
-Buy gun
-Research gun
-Craft gun
-Use gun
only researchable outpost/bandit guns are the double barrel and a basic revolver. You also need a certain level workbench
@@almascapone5900 There's a level 1 workbench in outpost already so you can craft t1 guns. I'm also pretty sure there's a research table (But i'm not 100% sure)

Good video, but if you used the method from your previous one, your statistics are incorrect unfortunately. Using a counter example:
Let's say there's a crate with a 50% chance of spawning a gun. With 2 of these crates, crate A and B, what is the chance that we get a gun? According to your methodology, 100%, but this cannot be true as it's still possible to have a gun in neither. The correct answer is intuitively 75%. We get this by looking at four possible outcomes:
gun in only crate A
gun in only crate B
gun in both crates
gun in neither crate.
Since each case is equally likely, there is a 25% chance of not getting a gun. To use a more sophisticated formula that determines the probability of at least 1 gun:
P = 1 - (C')^n
where P is the final probability we're looking for, C' the probability that there won't be a gun in that crate and n the number of crates. Since the game uses different crates with different gun drop percentages, we can adjust the formula as so:
P = 1 - (C1'^n1)*(C2'^n2)*(C3'n3)*(...)
where the numbers denote a different crate type. Please pin or update the video if you can xx

@@rusty9097 If you break a SAM that is in a specific spot, you can fly up with only having to worry about rads

I ran like 5 times with puzzle but still no gun. def no 60% on airfield.
