      @@sofiapesantez3344 If it's okay, I have a question. I used to live in New Jersey but my parents moved to an island in the Caribbean called Dominica to be closer to our family. The education system here is very much different compared to the American system. Firstly we start high school at age 12 and leave at age 16, also we have this huge exam at the end of high school called the CSEC. It is Caribbean based and generally not acknowledged by most American universities. Secondly our grades and gpa are calculated much differently. My question is, should I worry about getting into my dream school, Stanford when things like gpa, exams and the school system is so different here.

      You should not worry at all, as long as you score highly on whichever test you are taking, and register to take the ACT/SAT and study up for that as well
