Hugh Laurie does seem to be a full-time comedian. I'm sure he's not quite as amusing to live with on a daily basis, no one is, but he's genuinely amusing and witty without effort.

I love coming across British interviews with Hugh Laurie, he has such a nervous and yet charming way about him. Thanks very much for posting this.

Hugh's humor simply has NOT changed even slightly. Every interview i have seen, recent, about House, his movies and in the past, he has always managed to be witty, quick and just an around alright bloke. He honestly comes across as a really nice guy.

8:25 "I was going to say seven" is ripped straight from A Bit of Fry and Laurie. Classic.

A comedy genius interviewed by another one. That’s comedy gold! Love how those witty jokes just breezed through the entire time.

Clive says "ever improving acting career"...little did they know just how it'd improve 8 years later.

Really nice of Clive to invite questions from the audience. Could become a whole new interview format in chat shows.

That part of his show was a new feature he brought to it when he moved his chat show from Channel 4 to the BBC.

Me too but he was funny including that part when they were trying to scape but got caught. He is a natural comedian.😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆

He turns up. I think that's a shot at Stephen Fry cuz he had a nervous breakdown and ran away from one of his plays.

2:06 that look says my career no longer fulfills me cuz I've hit a glass ceiling regulating me to stupid caricature type casting but it pays the bills. I'm gonna go home and try not killing myself.
