I get zato buffs and everything. But why is it that zato players are the only resource character playerd that dont play him like one. It feels like people still just use Eddy as much as possible and then try to survive until he comes back naturally
because if youre not using eddy you have almost no offense. you have to use eddy to start any sort of pressure or convert into damage. zato cant really easily convert a hard knockdown into resources the way that HC can, nago has amazing normals when his blood gauge is almost full, ABA builds gauge with every hit and can even cancel and re enter JR to refill her bar rapidly. Zato has the sword super that replenishes the guage but thats p much it. ABA in normal mode is a stronger character than Zato with no eddy.
Eddie is Zato's resource. Just like how Jacko's resource is her sla-minions. And Happy Chaos with his bullet count and concentration. What do you mean??

Unsummon does lose him his turn, but there isn't a resource character in the game that restores their resource for free and keeps their offense. I'm referring to people instead of going all in on a block string, using recall and reengaging like most other resource characters do

cause unsummon loses your turn. the only way to manage eddie meter is command grab, wa unsummon or sun void
