    Does the price of beer vary much from bar to bar or area to area ?

    • @travellerchannel
      @travellerchannel  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The price of beer can vary from bar to bar and from one area to another, but it's generally considered affordable compared to many Western European countries.

    • @travellerchannel
      @travellerchannel  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The brand and type of beer you order will impact the price. Imported or craft beers are generally more expensive than local or domestic brews.

    • @travellerchannel
      @travellerchannel  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The size of the beer you order matters. In some places, you may have the option to order different sizes, such as a half-pint, pint, or a larger glass.

    I'll go to Europe in December. Is it a goog time to visit Vilnius?

    • @travellerchannel
      @travellerchannel  Před rokem

      It depends where you come from. In December it's relatively cold (-3 to +1 or sometimes -10) for people from southern countries. If you live in Canada, you will acclimatise. If you come from subtropic regions, you have to buy a lot of clothes and booth for snow even though there might not be snowy. But December is good for many Xmas activites, Xmas markets etc. Just the hotels are overpriced by then.

    • @travellerchannel
      @travellerchannel  Před rokem

      Visiting Vilnius in December can be a wonderful experience, especially if you enjoy winter weather and festive holiday celebrations. The city is known for its Christmas markets, where you can browse local crafts and enjoy seasonal treats like gingerbread and mulled wine.
      However, keep in mind that the weather in Vilnius in December can be quite cold, with temperatures often dropping below freezing. Snow is also common during this time of year, which can make walking around the city a bit more challenging. Additionally, some attractions and restaurants may have limited hours or be closed for the holidays, so it's a good idea to check ahead if there are specific places you want to visit.
      Overall, if you don't mind the cold and enjoy holiday festivities, December can be a great time to visit Vilnius. Just be sure to pack warm clothing and plan accordingly for any closures or limited hours.

    • @travellerchannel
      @travellerchannel  Před rokem +3

      I guess, nordic cultures miss some elements some southern cultures might have. Here is a question as well. How would you express emotions to have fun? Sometimes it would be just dancing and singing on the streets, sometimes it would be having meaningful and intelligent humour. Whichever way it's more spread in your culture.
