I have never ridden a ferry, im more of train guy. When I mean guy, i mean a twelve who loves watching your vids on a sunday😂. Just remembered, i rode the MBTA ferry.
This was cool and different, being a Ferry Foamer! Those are fun, too. There's one in Cincinnati that goes across the Ohio River to Kentucky. I've done that a couple of times. There's also Ferries in Lake Erie because there are some Ohio Islands there, and I've done a couple of those too! Very fun!
Where I grew up there is a pedestrian ferry over a reservoir. To call it, on either side there is a metal plate (technically a dull circular saw blade) and a hammer to hit it and make some noise...
@@honajtransit The “Richard E Bennis”the usual vessel was being renovated from August 2022 and it returned in May. Now I don’t know when it’ll return to Haverstraw. NY waterway only added weekend service because the MTA wanted weekend service

Honaj, remember the Haverstraw-Ossining ferry? They switched out boats to the Christopher Colombus and the Peter Weiss is now doing Edgewater-Midtown
