Just another tip, I zip tie any new buzz bait to my Antenna and drive around and when it starts to scream take it off. Doesn’t take long and you can burn up the blade or rivet
Good tip on the new BUCKEYE buzz bait. I like buzz baits early when the water temp gets to 45 and up or in fall when it gets all the way down to low 50’s or upper 40’s. Thanks for info JAMES, good video!!
Hey James…..really enjoy your channel. Buckeye always makes a nice product. That is a very nice looking buzzbait!! I’ve never really been a fan of the clacker buzzbait but maybe I’ll give them a shot this year. I agree with you with the trailer, I always put one on and I’m a big fan of 5he 1/4 oz. I’m glad you started this channel…I’ll be rooting for you this year!!
Hey James….i know you use Yamamoto a lot. I recently bought a bait lot and they had quite a few of the Yamamoto cut tail worms in various sizes from 4 1/2” to 7 1/2” I believe. I’d really like a video to see how you recommend fishing these. Thank you
Here in the Ozarks we have been fishing head knocking buzzbaits for decades. When you have a day when they want that head knock you will be hooked. You will have one for the rest of your life. I always try the head knocker first then I will tweak the wire up so it doesnt knock and try that. So it is like two buzzbaits in one. Black with a gold blade is money maker in Ozarks.
Hey man do you still have your tracker 1754sc? I was looking forward to seeing what all you were gonna do to that rig. I bought one last year and have plans for a lot of upgrades

Thanks for sharing. I’ve held my buzzbait out the window too

For sure, some may think those are cool temps for the buzzer but I know when things are right they will come for it!

Never been on LOZ when the EPIC buzzbait bite is on, heard/read a bunch on it 😊
Thanks for sharing your experience
Nice!
Thank you
Looks like it'll be a good cheaper alternative for a boogerman
Gonna be a winner!
Great video James what rod reel and line do you recommend for the buzzbait
I like a rod in the 7’2 to 7’4 length, a bit lighter then a true Heavy power, Fast Action and a 7.3:1 gear too with 50 lb braid
Have you ever worn out the blade of a buzzbait to the point the holes in the blade break and the blade comes off the wire
Yes I have, it takes a while and usually is fun getting there
Hey man do you still have your tracker 1754sc? I was looking forward to seeing what all you were gonna do to that rig. I bought one last year and have plans for a lot of upgrades
Yes I have plans to do much more but I’ve been super busy. Hope to tackle it soon
you need to talk louder or turn your volume up!
Ok thank you
