- Bronco is ALIVE AGAIN!! Betty Boop Bronco has been so patient, we’re so ready for her to be back in action!
We installed this Holley Sniper EFI on our 302 HO roller motor and it was such a great unit- now we just have to wait for driveshafts so we can drive her!

Emily's excitement is infectious. Lol.
I would 100% agree! Emily you have a sister for a fellow Texas guy
She's the cutest tomboy I've ever seen.
Please Stay Genuine like You Are!! No one's perfect and it makes it more sincere when you don't edit all the little bloopers out. Stay real!! You Are a Special Couple!!All the best from Canada
Another Bronco saved, good job Emily and Aaron.
It's alive! Such a good feeling! And Emily is such a goofball that the slow-mo sexy look at the end of the videos just cracks me up every time.
Em uses the term GOOBER, sometimes.
Yeap...she make alot if she had site like other chicks selling ONLY fans...or maybe body parts...hahahaha
My jaw is on the floor .... LoL new favorite CZcams channel
Nothing more satisfying than the first startup.
Or more nerve racking lol
@raymond louks you spelled "first drive" wrong
@@JoshBrock LOL!
I just put MSD Injection on my Corvette that I have owned for 51 years (so you can guess how old I am) and was just as excited when I hit the key the first time and it fired up after rolling over about 3 revolutions. It is still learning, but the car has never been so responsive and fun to drive. Emily, your excitement is infectious!
I put that same Holly Sniper on my '63 327 SBC about eight months ago and absolutely love it..
Emily I admire your enthusiasm in everything that you do. You face shows it all. It's good to see people who love what they do.cheers
so early i got the notification 1/2 way through watching ... and always good to hear the engine of a project burst into life cleanly
Betty sounds great ! Nothing much more fun than first startups and burning everything in ! Great days and safe travels... all o ya !
If you are planning on changing out the wiring harness I recommend the centech one. I put it in my early Bronco and I'm not fond of electrical work. I kept the original Ford ignition swiich as I did not like the one that came with the new harness. Other than that was pretty easy. I also put in a later model Mustang Alternator as I wanted reliability there too. Why Ford had alternator and voltage regulator separate in the 60's I'll never know. I didn't go with EFI, wanted electronic ignition for reliability but the EFI thing was looking too complicated for me....so I went with a Edelbrock with a manual choke. Good job on getting another early Bronco back on the road.
You two are just amazing to watch. Your production quality is fantastic and your personalities working together is a breath of fresh air. Keep up the fun and informative content and ride this wave for all it’s worth!!
When painting headers always heat the headers up and burn the crap off them oil etc... Then paint them with good header paint and hang them in over what ever you heated them up with to dry. And make sure that you paint them while they are hot! And during the process keep them hot until you reach the desired level of paint on them. My drag car and 69 Camaro and my v8 s10 still have the paint on them from over 8 years ago. And don't use white use black (flat). Don't know why but white header paint doesn't last they turn yellow and peel really bad.
Im laughing and smiling lots, you 2 are just nuts!
congrats guys! good job! Can't wait to see Betty cruising down the street again!
Great job you two!! Betty Boop back on the road soon!!!
you guys should have your own tv show enjoying the videos
That smoke cloud must have been epic if the camera could pick up some of it!! Congrats to Betty and to you two as well!
Wow, Emily is quite the gorgeous gearhead! Loving the Bronco. Will have to check out yalls other videos.
My two favorite mechanics I mean favorite mechanic!
I LOVE your chemistry together in the shop. AMAZING! Keep up the good work!
What a sweet truck !!!
Glad to hear it run can't wait for a road test stay safe
Following your exploits from Norfolk, England. Loving ‘em! Great entertainment.
I have seen smoke burn off headers a number of times to put it mildly but that was impressive.
I was gifted a 93 Bayliner Ciera 2855. Cracked engine block. But I'm hopeful and excited. Reupholstering interior cabin while searching for an engine. On a tight budget but you guys give me hope.
That’s one hell of a woman. Texas girl of course 👍🏻😎. Awesome videos you guys, keep on rockin!!🇺🇸
I got a 96 bronco and like watching older bronco vids, I just found your channel cause this vid. I'm gonna enjoy the rest of ur bronco vids!
What A Great WEEK.
She sounds so good!!! Great job!!
I would add nice black off road bumpers to go with those fender flares.
Makes me miss my 74’......gotta love the 66-77....best 3 mods I ever did... pwr steering, Efi and disc breaks....
It's been a while Thanks for the Episode
Love the bronco build. Sweet ride!!! Love watch y’all in general. And dang miss Emily ur so beautiful and the fact u get in there and get ur hands dirty snd get things done is awesome. U and ur hubby or both blessed to have each other. Will be watching for the next video
Daniel Smith thanks so much, Daniel!
LOVE those old Bronco's!!! 👍🏿
When you pour from the one quart or gallon containers , pour it with the spout up and not on the the bottom , seems a little counter-intuitive until you see how well it pours without the chugging. 😎
You guys will love the throttle response the sniper gives you
Ford small blocks like 45° total time as quick as possible according to Roush. Please watch the oil pressure gauge on first start ups! Great job, ya'll!
must say I am really glad I found this channel. Got introduced to this channel from chris birdsong when he had to work on his car at your place
You are such a lucky man.
Congratulations guys.
That neutral safety switch just connects two wires I used to bypass them all the time just find the hot from the key switch (hot wire not hot Emily)and jump it to the wire going to the solenoid.
Congratulations! Betty B is a runner!! Yippee!!
Took me half a dozen times for my first start of my Bronco 😂 should have waited for yalls videos before I installed mine
I've got a 79' F-100 351m C6 I rescued. I built the M and put new front pump seals in the C6. I would love to put efi on it.
#HolleyEFI
We just had the best results with the Holley Terminator X, selected a boost tune from the Global Folder, changed the CID & added my injectors. Fired in maybe 2 revolutions and runs like a factory tune! We were absolutely shocked and happy! 😎😇
Wish my mechanic was as good looking as Emily. Paying the bill would be so satisfying considering she also knows what she's doing. Good onya!
Happy campers! Congratulations!
I liked Aaron’s comment, it’s no longer Shop Art! Great progress.
Holley's start up wizard makes me smile every time. :-)
Read up on your IAC settings, I’ve been down the rabbit hole with mine, that “idle screw” isn’t really an idle screw.
I run a Holley kit on my Ford and it’s been flawless, I recently installed one on my Chevy and it ran great for two months, then the IAC control failed, been chasing all sorts of issues since. Learning a lot about the system along the way, my Ford I’ve only ever had to add gas so never dove into how everything works etc.
Great work guys.
I have a stock built 351w. Ended up unplugging the IAC. Runs better without it. It was always changing my idle. Turn off key and try again. Very annoying.
on quarts like that power steering fluid or oil, flip the bottle the other way in hand to pour and it wont glug!
Looks like you need to buff/polish the red grill. An easy task and would boost the appearance greatly. Also, I would set the idle to 700 rpm.
Awesome! I’ve had my Sniper for 3 years now and love it!
im almost ready for my first start up with a sniper, could never figure out how to tune a carb, how does it compare?
Daza's C3 It’s pretty straightforward, just like in the video. Just answer the questions in the handheld and let it do it’s thing. I let mine self tune and haven’t touched it since. I just drive and enjoy.
@@gasolineimagesinc.7133 awesome, have you noticed better gas mileage?
@@dazasc3994 No. I didn't expect too with a throttle body style efi, and neither should you. Most people who did get some mileage gain was due to their old carburetor being poorly tuned. However, the easy starting, throttle response, and drivability with the Sniper
was better than I imagined and worth every penny.
i know it's an old video now, but i also have the sniper system on my old 81 bullnose with a 302 roller motor. i did an AOD swap to a 5 speed and talk about waking up a truck :)
Just a dumb fyi to help with the glug, glue, glug...turn the bottle of oil or power steering fluid over so the offset neck is on top when you pour...its designed to work that way...
Great work Emily and Aaron @FlyingSparksGarage
WHOHOOOOO!!!!!! Way to go yall!!!👍🏻❤️🤘🏻❤️
outstanding build, keep up the great content
I painted a set of headers with POR 15 one time....bad idea...the smoke was thick to say the least...what really sucked was it was first start and breaking in a flat tappet cam..so I didn't want to shut it off...put my painter's mask on...took a long time to burn off...note to self...don't do that again...great first fire...congrats.
I prefer the FAST over the Holly stuff personally, but the Holly does a decent job. In my experience, there just isn't enough tuning parameters in the Holly. It is really made for stockish motors.
It has been a while since I have watched these videos. I totally forgot how adorable your fine lady is. Always good to watch these videos.
you 2 just have way tooooo much fun! good for you
I had a very similar starter problem on my 69 Mustang, back in 82, when I rebuilt the motor. I didn’t plug the cable that ran to the manual trans, there is a jumper, instead of a neutral/park switch that would be on an automatic.
You’re both so fun ! Just need to buff that grill now :)
That oxidized grill looks funny now that the sides are all shiny. Good deal on the start-up! Love that Bronco.
Yes looks a little off...
It's funny you know I caught your boat video and now I am subscribed to your Channel and there is nothing better than having your woman with you working on your vehicle or anyting and enjoying herself and getting her hands dirty I love it I just absolutely love it. My wife used to help me with everything that I did and she learned quite a lot about mechanics fantastic until she got that Leadfoot and blew up my 74 matching numbers Dodge swinger yeah but it was okay I replaced it with a 360 Truck Engine yeah I know no more matching numbers but it's okay it was a daily driver anyway but a good straight car. In Texas that's easy. Any state that does not use salt is okay in my book guess where I'm at now yep Ohio LOL but what's really cool is I had a 67 Scout and you know the Scout came first and then the Bronco game and they look so much alike it's not even funny. You guys stay safe stay well and has always God bless
That is a way cool Bronco.
That's awesome. I have a 74 bronco I did a frame off on it and haven't started the motor yet. Hope mine will start like yours. Really enjoy your videos especially on the bronco. Ohh ya
Don't let idle for extended periods of time without actually driving it. The base tune is a bit rich until you drive it and it dials itself in. Tons of idling will be eventually foul the plugs. Sold tons of these Snipers with very little issues. Should be real snappy once you drive it.
You have fun , thats good 👍
Love the old Bronco and International body lines.
Great work. Glad to see her running 👍🏻💪🏼🔥❤️
Sweet! I want one for my Jeep w/ 360 💪🏼😎🍻
Congratulations on hitting a 100k subscribers! Well done!
You know what else is nice about Emily? No tatoos!
Awesome job,she sounds nice and healthy
Love these videos, what a great find. Please keep it up you two
Great video as usual you guys! I always look forward to updates from you.
When first started i was concerned the ol 302 was rolling coal...lol
Its Awesome when it fires the 2nd time around!
Great video, we’ve just installed the Holley Sniper and Hyperspark ignition on our BBC here in Australia. It’s never run so well.
We did have an issue at the start with plugs fouling due to fueling up. Awesome channel, keep up the good work.
Very cool! I am looking at this system in my upcoming engine swap myself.
The perfect day to start any job, tomorrow. Why there is nothing a man can't accomplish, Tomorrow.
Great job and can't wait to see her on the road 👍👍🇨🇱
YASS!!! Thats awesome! Congrats y'all!!
Good job kids.. Everyone forgets stuff.. I have done the clutch safety switch a few times.
650 might be too low.
Build a cloning machine next so everyone can have an Emily. I have an extra hemi engine sitting around for a down payment.
You’re pouring oil in the wrong way....turn the can the other way. That’s why it’s designed that way.
@Charles Schroeder That's what she said.....ba dum tiss🎶
good job.. love it ran out of gas... lol
My first wife was a real gearhead. 1966 chevelle 1967 gto 1972 nova 1968 chevelle and a 1974 chevy pulling truck. Not to bad .
She lives
what an absolutely adorable couple
Emilys ripped t-shirts are the best!
Deal with that NSS part right (w/EOD...), not everything has to be old'n'dangerous!
I need a gear head momma like that!
Great exhaust note
Okay okay I guess y'all deserve to got to the lake and have family, friends and fun, even though you threw away the starter wire, LOL!!!!
0:56 Flip the bottle so the spout is on top and it won't glug
Neutral safety switch he’s right
Wayne Brogdon he’s always right!!!! 😝😭😂
