This movie had an underlying meaning to me. It depicts the problems/expectations of women in real society. Rape, obedience/femininity, and the unrealistic expectation of being young and attractive forever. Notice how the Dr. was old, but the wife had a face transplant. The saying “men age like wine and women age like milk” is embodied in this film. Men are allowed to age, women aren’t. Excellent film with a great message about the world’s sexist views on women. 10/10

To be honest, this is one of my favorite movies. If you´re into psychological stuff and analysing movies for a long time then this is a biiiiig recommendation. Absolute masterpiece no doubt.

I can recommend Sightless, Mother, What happened to Monday, Awake (with Gina Rodriguez), Oxygen.
Some of them are less frightening but the thought of being in that Situation kinda makes it scary ☺️

The scene where she screamed “don’t look at me” to all the girls really stood out to me. I think she did that because of deep rooted shame she had buried deep within her, and in that split second it surfaced and we were able to see it.

I watched this like 50 times and just found a sick easter egg. Near the ending where the Philippine girl barges in to the classroom to gather the other girls to get them out, you can see the former "Mrs. Brixel" on the TV before her facial reconstruction surgery, as an older, blonde woman. I just realized that was supposed to be her before her surgery. Genius!!!

Level 16 was a great film, imo, (I've just finished watching it) I don't know why it's only rated 5.9 on IMDB? I would have given it 8. I'm not sure how to explain why it was so good (I'm not an expert in these things), but it was interesting, moving, great acting, brill story, original idea, good baddies (ie, I hated them) good ending. I enjoyed it. Thinking about it, it could actually symbolise a number of things in society probably and I'll be interested to see what comments people have made on it generally.

Great movie ! The plot twist was CRAZY! The whole time I thought they were grooming the girls for s- trafficking. But it’s something unexpected! 😱
It was kinda obvious the reason especially when the old people walked in and kept talking about their skin and the old woman looking constantly in the mirror

I cry at the end. finally they see the sun and knowing the air isnt poisonous. 😭 imagine not seeing the sun for so long or maybe your whole life and we just take it for granted. I really want to know what happen to them are they free?
This looks like a really good movie. The trailer is great too, sometimes there's too much in a trailer but this has just enough. Can't wait to see it.

Someone posted thier own type of Trailer, got into a couple things but didn't reveal anything and I watched it right then. When I went to show someone this Trailer it didn't even seem as appealing and I watched it. Definitely don't wait and watch this movie! It was really great and keeps the ending a surprise. Really well done.
I liked this because I didn't see the ending coming, I had a different theory in mind which was close though. but clearly i need to now watch "the silenced" since a lot of people are comparing it to this
I could see the ending a mile away, that scene when the two old sponsors came in confirmed it.
Except I thought surely it can't be that simple replacing their face with the youth.
so I thought maybe it might be some sort of consciousness transfer from the rich into the girls and maybe there was a boy version of this place somewhere that rich men would use.

Watched this movie with my friends last night! It was hard to memorize the character's names at first but other than that it was really good!

The tall Asian girl with long dark hair- Sophia
Shorter white girl with big eyes and brown hair- Vivian
Dirty-blonde haired white girl that seems a bit too enthusiastic to be there- Rita
Tall white girl with brown hair- Ava
The rest don't matter too much/easy to remember, hopes this helps!

So I just watched this BECAUSE the reviews and comments said it was good. This movie IS good. It's not great or fantastic, definitely not stupid or bad. Just good. If you're tired of all the supernatural garbage they put out today, but want a thriller, try this one out.
So basically this is an amalgam of Lee Hae-young's 2015 chiller 'The Silenced' and Robert S. Fiveson's 1979 sci-fi horror 'Parts: The Clonus Horror.'
I just finished watching this movie. It's pretty good and worth the time watching. You'll get a kick at the real reason why they're there.

(pulling this off IMDb "Held captive for 7 years in an enclosed space, a woman and her young son finally gain their freedom, allowing the boy to experience the outside world for the first time.")

Just finished watching this, it's 12:40 am 4-21-23, and this is coming from a 32 year old male, I have to say this is a great movie, man I haven't seen a good movie in a long time, I'll give this a 9.2 out of 10😊😊

21st Century Education System. This is the reality with all those cameras at uni, primary school and other places I used to grow up. Sometimes wondering who really observed us and what for 😏

The build up was excellent but the reveal felt underwhelming to me, I actually gave the movie too much credit.
From the beginning I knew it was a farm of sorts using the kids for something and when the elderly came in I thought it might be consciousness transfer from the rich into the girls and maybe there was a boy version of this place somewhere that rich men would use.

a bit psychological feel .. also made me think about how life was so tough on women n gotta be well behaved n what not ... is this why we as new generation became so crazy because of our ancestors being kept under pressure of control? xp

J A in a nutshell, sexually undesirable people are being driven crazy. Ugly women can get it from the most desperate of men if they reach that point. In the god old days, everyone paired up with someone because you had to. So undesirable traits continued for the sake of duty.
