I also did the CC mistake, put some on Richard 🤣🤣🤣, i still use CC to murder farmers in Kvk. Just keeping all sculptures I get, not investing on anything again for now

Me for 2 years Ive been rolling 4 free accounr free to play I build em up I spend 20 min in the morning, 20 min at night and then I sell them for 350 to 500 Canadian dollars, I do that as a side hobbie lol and all I do is build up nothibg else lol

Oh man, this really hits home for me.
I maxed YSS and Theodora but I'm too weak to be a proper garrison commander (the only time I really use them is for AOO, where they at least provide some value). I've also crafted Shio's Return and Eternal Night and maxed Minamoto, as well as skipping YSG.
I'm also glad that you mentioned migration and looking into different kingdoms. The first account that I created was hobbled by bad/weak kingdoms and alliances - started in an unstable kingdom and migrated (or rather forced out) to an older kingdom, where all I did was farm. It wasn't until I started a new account in a new kingdom that my ROK experience truly took off and I was able to enjoy everything that the game had to offer.
The home kingdom has a certain nostalgia to it, but tying yourself down to it will severely limit your growth. It's very much worth exploring other kingdom, whether by migrating or by creating a new character. The game is more than just one kingdom.
1) bad migrations, it is what it is. Live and learn
2) skipping YSG because I was told "get Richard, YSG is for whales" This was the first couple of months the game was open so its ok.
3) expertising Khan. He was really great but since then a lot of new commanders have been added and he really isnt very useful anymore.
4) not doing Guan/Alex. I skipped Alex early and never got around to him because I had other things in mind, which worked out fine but thats a really good march and its quick and has good utility.
All 100% agree! It's all about learning mistakes, and the best part is that usually you can fix them :)

@@lavenderlilacs Idk how strictly f2p you are but YSG is available in the daily purchase bundles (Every 3 purchases = guaranteed sculpture, so $1 a day and he'll be unlocked within 2 to 3 weeks.)

Great video! I’ve been pushing hard for T5 but maybe i should chill out on it and focus on more good commanders. Been sacrificing wheels etc for gems toward books. I’m basically free to play at 45m power
Yeah a balance between t5 progression and wheels is definitely better. No point in t5 if they die anyway 😁
Equipment is the most important in my opinion. Maybe concentrate on the egg game instead for now.

Watched start to finish this is great content. I would say CAO CAO can be great kvk1 I had him 5511 for high level forts from day 50-60 then skill reset to 5223 with bellarius day 100 odd for kvk fun and really enjoyed using him mainly for hunting down injured inf marches. Mina is an early game beast but you are right £30 off better than £200

If it's any consolation, I deliberately maxed my Cao Cao with universals. I don't regret it as I'm F2P, and have always centred my game play around the Chinese commanders. You can imagine my joy when we got Guan Yu, especially as he and Cao Cao were contemporaries in real life!
After 2 years, at 70mil power, 200mil kill points, and all T5 troops, Sun Tzu is still my garrison commander, and China is still my city civilisation.

One of the thing that I don't regret is not maxing Pakal. When he first came out , people are overhyping about him. I feel he's just Charles Martel with a rally skill. I kept him at 5511 and pair him with YSG just because he got that skill damage.
Pakal/Harald did a lot of damage in my KvK, he's surprisingly good honestly. I wish I invested in him instead of Zeno/YSS hahaha

i spent around 30-40 gold heads in caocao, coz at that time i heard form someone said that khan/cc is best rally combo -:)... and i put saladin at 1000 for 300-400 days after i get it...
i do dump 30 gold head on ishida during my early game.. 330 gold head on martel.. craft shio boots(not crits lol) maxing richard first and ysg is second after..
But not too late for me to fix those.. as a very low spender i dont do any garrison comm(only martel/ysg) .. would be wasted for me do newer gen garrison comm in soc but could be useful for ark.
Need to update the minamoto part. Nevsky/minamoto (with double relic) will outclass Sala/William all day

As a very low spender.. What kind of role is most suited for me? Im about to enter KVK1. and have spent legendary commander sculps in golden key commanders, but only to 5111 them..
But at least you got your city well protected can also make use with arcs with that zeno/yss and eventually you will reach higher vip
Yep I did the exact thing about t5 vs commanders. I regret that too. Basically I made all the same mistakes you did except max mina.. Lol
the only time i put gold heads in a gold key commander was when pass 4 in kvk opened latter that day and I had just won an event enough gold heads to finish the next skill on ysg and then put the last 1 head I needed to make MArtle 5511
im on VIP7 right now and the server im playing opened for 13 days now, so do i need to rush to VIP10? or should i save gems to all in for richard I/ Yi? i have 20k gem and a 650 gems everyday bundle right now
t4 are super op, in my kvk 1 there were a bunch of whales with t5 and i only had t4 and 18m power and i became a massive pain in the whale's side as i invested heavily in good commanders and gear and would positive trade against their armies. just about to enter kvk 2 and i am now 20m power and actually am prepared for kvk this time and prepared to be a pain again.
(The reason i can compete with t5 is i have max infantry tech and good infantry commanders + equipment rather than investing in a bunch of different techs)
Until a person with t5 has what you have. (Most) you dealt with shitty whales, t5 is king, don’t get it twisted

I'm a low spender with 1212 consective login days and I have still not maxed a gold key commander from just gold keys!! Frederick 4544, Caesar 5525. I too used gold heads on Caocao to max him and I don't regret it at all cause I got use out of him in the early game, had I not done that he would most likely still be at like 5553 now.

In my opinion entering kvk2 as a new player, maxing mina was a game changer, specially as a low spender, I just get some much use out of him but all in all it’s just an opinion
Skipping YSG cause i didnt have enough gems, its really hard now maining archers with good archer equipment.

Im playing this game as a ftp since Oct 19 2018 and only spent around 150bucks in the game and i clearly recall that some rok content creator convince me to upgrade Cao Cao too because he is the best available commander for ftps. Its either chisgule spooby or rhony. spent hunderes of unis with CC and he is my 1st maxed out Legendary commander and if it isnt embarrassing enough, i maxed henghis khan too for a complete Cavalry march for pve and pvp. boy i was so wrong.
KVK tech is killing the game for old players and preventing new players from staying in game since old players go to kvk 2 and kill the game for them

your biggest regretted mistake cause i too spent a lot of universals in that shitty cao cao , cause i was watching Rhony and he is a cav. player , and despite that cav. nowadays suck , yet he is still loyal to them , i wish i could take even 25% of the sculptures i put in cao cao , cause he is pretty much useless and i am a regular player not spending much in the game so you can imagine how devastating this to me

I think if you have the materials and don't have the blue prints for Epics then go ahead and forge the legendary.
Yes, Epics with a crit are better value. But look how much time are you gonna spend getting 5 epic patterns the most to specialise them.
I am entering SOC and have played 380 days and don't even two epic boot patterns for infantry. I got a shio accumulated from kvk1-3.
I don't regret it.
It's pretty much like putting universal heads on martel. I dumped 70 heads to get him 5511 in kvk1 and now he is still just at 5522. Again, it was not a waste. Martel was better than any epic I used

Two BIG mistakes for me. Spending to keep up with a power hungry alliance leader early In 1864 to hit 13 million power before kvk1 (terrible now a days I know) and then quitting for over a year when my old tablet said "f this game". (Theodora was just coming out). Pick the game back up 3 month ago and yeah the account has such a high hospital bill all I want to do is cry.

My biggest regrets regarding commanders is: Expert Wu, Expert Khan. Not getting Richard early on. The biggest regret is 2 months in the game I dumped all the gems into training t3 troops and getting zeroed right after. Another regret is not starting a farm early on, now playing T5 I never have enough resources.
Expert khan is not a mistake at all. He is better than Richard if you use him properly. Richard isnt that good after SoC
@@MrFasho123 khan is irrelevant in SoC too. He was relevant 6 months to a year ago. F2P can use him with Saladin, but if you run around khan/cao you’re just filling up hospital
@@kostya1000 Nah I use Khan in SoC and so does the best cav player in my kingdom and we both trade positive. Its all about how you use him. Khan CC I cant say anything about but probably would trade positive with that too if you can play it really good but not recommended.
Where Genghis really does well is in Altars where you can only use one march. Genghis+Aoe comm gives a good amount of kills and especialy with a will in that pair.
My regret is getting the golden road blocks for the achievement 😂😂 ( You are something else )

Yeah I'd say just try to get special talent on the purple boots and then use materials for something else like a legendary infantry chest or helmet :)

I don't think the investment in Minamoto is a waste. Just because barbarians and forts are getting stronger in kvks. Minamoto can do the job well. We can get benefit from him.

I started exactly 100 days ago and i startet on a soc server because a good real live friend of mine is the king of the server so i don realy consider it a mistake i saced my early levels but i progress much faster
I have come to see T5 as THE BEGINNING of the Game...From the POV of its all training to manage and fight with T5’s.
My farm, is more effective than my main. Farm is 199K in sunset, main is 228k.
Major mistakes have been avoided. Main difference is the amount of AP I have saved with farm. I have over 400K AP cached away. & only at 14.5m P CH @ lvl23...

I do not regret Minamoto I use him every single day. Mina/CC are perfect for barbs, forts, and events.

Biggest mistake: To get every new legendary commander and upgrade them at 5/1/1/1...I just can't focus, I'm a very low spender,and getting 50 gold sculpts take long for me...and still, I spend them on commanders I never use :/...

Genghis Khan is a good investment. You must be a bad player or bad connection if you cant use him properly. I score positive with him and my kingdoms best cav player scores alot with Genghis.. in SOC even! Also pretty good to use in altar fights with AoE comm as second for fast skill use. I dont got Will yet but got someone else to use genghis will in altar and according to him it went pretty succesful even tho he didnt believe in it.
Lol genghis only good for events. In the fields they always target you first and hard to escape because his skills slow you down.

2035 is my kingdom. I have been stockpiling passports...Farm has 6 Main has 8. I expertised CC 1st too, LOL, HUGE REGRET MY #1 regret. I cashed in 72 CC SCULPTURES THIS KVK. Lol
And I just summoned YSG a few weeks ago. My farm has YSG @ 5/5/5/2...
I have Martell at 5/5/1/1 same with Constantine. Alex Guan and Harold I recently summoned. I taking Constantine to 6 stars (88%) then doing Alex or Harold...Hard choice 2 make
I made mistake on Richard. I made mistake on khan, Theodora. I think what we need to do is stop invest on any commander. Just let them go. LOL
