- I just had a craving to read some comics, haggled down from 10 to 7 bucks.
Thought I would let the experts out here in youtube land be the judge on how I did.

Why can I NEVER find garage sales like this?! The garage sales I seem to find have people asking $5 for a 90's comic worth 1.50! lol

LMAO ... i doubt these are worth anything, oh except for the tons of key issues you have inside of that box, this was either a clever prank or youre super lucky for a find like that, everything in that box would come out to around $1000 or more if sold properly

@Vincent Mileto I know your comment is 2 years old, but these comics today are easily worth $1000 and almost certainly were 2 years ago. Even if you sold them raw on eBay.

Wow man! What was amazing is that when you passed the key comics, you barely made a comment about them, but the viewers that knew what you had in your hand were all screaming like little kids at a candy store! Lol. Great find of the keys by accident and good fortune, man and great comics for you to read! Some of those cool comics I’ve never got to hold on my hands yet! I’ve collected comics for years and I’m still learning about the great past, present and upcoming comics daily! I hope you got to enjoy the stories and maybe made a nice profit on reselling some of the valuable ones! Then you could go out and buy more stuff for entertainment! Thanks bud for sharing!
The Comic on screen at 1:16 is a book that is the 1st Jim Lee art on X-men. I work in a comic shop. If it is in good shape and 1st printing it can fetch 10-20 bucks. That Rin Tin Tin, probably has a market, though I dont know enough about that old stuff to tell you much. At 1:50, that uncanny x-men #141 is worth a nice chunk of change (50-80) depending on condition. Wolverine #1 at the 3:10 mark I seen fetch a solid 50, but as low as 15. Your death of superman, sealed in the bag fetches 20 bucks (4:20). You have some decent x-men keys in there, I would go through and take a look at the values, I just mentioned the ones you prolly overlooked. Also, anything shiny generally means worthless. Hope that helps.
Wow, I just so this video! I hope you still have that box! Raw and not slabbed it’s still easily worth over a $1000 dollars from what I saw. Hard to tell the condition however, that’s important as well. Super super hau! 👍

Its a very odd collection of crappy books with a few that the original owners would have to have bought as back issues just to throw in with his dreck?

@mysterymac38 . Pretty suspect. It is such a small amount of books and super questionable to have a pile of books worth quite a bit with random 90s Drek. Back in the day I use to collect random stuff, but you would at least a some kind of rhyme or reason for the titles chosen and you could never accidentally have a spread like that given some of the titles in there. His comment about Superman's Girlfriend have a book is very telling. Shenanigans.
Some of those books are AMAZING! X-men #142, Amazing Spiderman 121, Wolverine #1, the first Gambit! Great pick up

Uncanny X-men 141 and 142 and 266 Amazing Spider-man 121 Wolverine 1 and Venom 1 the rest has still value about $5-$15 or check the value going on at Ebay.
I have been collecting comics since I was a little girl, the Wolverine #1 you have there is the Frank Miller Wolverine, he's an iconic person in the comic world, and if that comic is in decent shape it would be worth a minimum of $25-50 depending on the condition, don't let anyone tell you any differently...if you don't believe me just check it out on eBay. Search "Wolverine #1" and look for that one, many of the high grades go for $75+
The black blood dripping Superman is "The Death of Superman" if it's still in the bag (yours is) it's $20-25
Anything 12 cents are called "silver age comics" and they are pretty collectible. Anything 15 cents are "bronze age comics" and are also very sought after. Almost any 12 cent Marvel/DC comic that isn't in horrible shape is going to be a minimum of $10-15 ...and if it's in any good shape, much more. Hope this helps for the future!
Just at a one time viewing....if you bought all these comics at a comic shop, I'd guess it would cost you between $100-150, largely due to that Wolverine, and the Death of Superman, along with the Worlds Finest, and that Supergirl which you said "boring", I just bought THAT comic 2 days ago for $14 =)

Wolverine 1-4 is $125-135 only the Uncanny X-men 266 is more than the Wolverine because of the coming out movie and the Uncanny X-men 141 and 142 is more than $150 because again the movie days of future past.And of course the death of Gwen Stacy the iconic story in Marvel ASM 121 CGC 9.8 goes for more than $1,000 and for a raw one goes more than $500-$800 and a REPRINT is $35-50,cmon now it's the #6 in 100 Greatest Marvel of All time beside the #3 Death of Jean Grey(Phoenix).and of course if his Venom #1 is the Black error variant and NM it can go from$2,500-$3,500 and imagine if that is the white error variant really ultra rare.
I feel like I know everything there is to know about comic books after hearing him talk about these books!

So...I'm a serious collector and can I just say that this is THE DREAM of all collectors. To find a box with books like these inside for an insanely low price. Wow.
I would be more convinced if that box was chalk full of back issues and may have just one Key issue. But, you have a box 1/4 full with Spiderman 121 ($400 book) Xmen 248 ($20-40 dollar book) Xmen 142 (High Grade gets you $150 dollars) Wolverine 1 (50 to 100 depending on the grade) Xmen 54 ($60 Book). Hulk 104 ($50 book maybe) Xmen 266 first appearance of Gambit ($100 book)..........WAY too many goodies in a 1/4 filled box.
Supergirl may be "boring" but 80 page giants are worth good money to a collector.

The days of future past uncanny x men is worth more than what your paid for, spider man 150 can sell for around $50 and your spider man 121 ( death of gwen stacy ) can go for $100 and up depending on condition.
Amazing Spider-Man 121 goes regularly on eBay for $100+ in auctions even in lesser grades...provided you didn't already sell it off.
80 Page Giant Supergirl book not boring, 80 page giants worth something usually. Lois Land had her own comic for close to 20 years.
Holy crap!! If mint, you have over 500$ in X-Men... That 103 is worth more than 150$, 141-142 over 100$.... If in perfect condition, white pages, no creases...
that wolverine issue 1 is worth at least 30-50$ depending on the condition. i can't believe you got that book in that box for only 7$. id would have paid 20$ just for that wolverine #1. you've got about 100$ worth of books there at least!

xmen 142 days of futures past is the premise from the next xmen movie and in good condition is about 50 bucks spiderman 121 is about 100 bucks and Xmen 142 is days of futures past as well and in good condition can fetch upwards of 100-150
pretty much all of your xmen are worth money. you even have first appearnce of gambit. take these to a local shop and make money
Spider-Man #121, Modeling with Millie #40, Forbidden World, Wolverine #1, Supergirl, and the most valuble is Hulk #104.
i just looked up some of those books. wolverine 1 and the wolverine with the yellow cover, depending on condition are easily worth 50 a piece. damn good find guy.

You have Uncanny X-Men #266 is the first appearance of Gambit a popular X-Men character that maybe worth alot. There is alot of old comics there for 12, 15, 25 cents if they are in good condition they could be worth something.
lol very nice wish i find a bargain like that some day, id say it worth around $500 at least depends on the condition of the comics , might be worth you having them graded if amazing spiderman #121 came back graded at say a 9.6 its worth over a $1000 on recenly sold for $1200 graded 9.6 on ebay.

Don't go buy what people are selling comics for on ebay...go by the sold prices....or what something has been bid up to.....people can put anything they want as an asking price...it doesn't mean they'll get it.......some fantastic books in there..... for reading and as far as value goes.....love to know the condition of the Amazing Spiderman 121 is.
That is a very GOOD price! Some people sell Comic Books for 7 or 10 dollars.

That Action Comics #583 at 2:20 is pretty good find. it's considered the 'final' superman story pre-crisis
that amazing spiderman 121 death of gwen stacy is about 120 book and that wolverine 1 is about a 90 dollar book and that x men 266 the first gambit about a 60 dollar book. well you got an awesome find i would hold on to the ones i told you about they just keep going up in value and you might even wanna get them cgc graded that will increase the value. For $7 you did damn good.

That's a really nice haul there man, get those older X-Men boosk graded by someone skilled in grading them, same with the older Bat-Man and Spider-Man books. The more modern ones with holographic covers and such aren't generally worth a lot but sometimes they surprise you. That's a good comic haul, all eras, good random stuff congrats

Depending on the condition its in that 121 spider man can go for a lot, maybe have a CGC grading done on it

I wish you knew more about comics. Oh well. That Lois Lane book is from the early 70s, so yeah, she had a comic. Gunsmoke is a TV show. Hulk book worth about $30. Comics that are 12 cents were printed between 1962 and 1969.

okay everyone's allowed to their own opinion it's a free country alright I'm going to give you any complaints here first of all there are no boring unboring everyone like their own thing as a lot of people hard as finding out you scored but if you haven't checked it out and got ready for nothing then you lost okay that Iron Man It's Not Invisible it's invincible but please find someone who loves Comics the same to obviously don't and that's cool just make sure they get into the hands of a collector not a dealer a collector will give you more money a dealer will give you a fraction what is worth
