Mature skin and on my 4th level of life🤭 with hyperpigmentation 😢and some 🍊 orange peel texture. So as I keep getting older I will always be a sucker for ANYTHING new release when it comes to base products. Yes they get me with the blur and smooth 🫣. So Rebecca THANK U. I do need you to give your wonderful detailed information. Some very hyped foundations have been terrible on me and yes it said blurring and smooth😵.
What blurs and smooth on one person falls into pores on another. And this is one of those. In terms of skin tone and hyper pigmentation it is fantastic but it falls into those pores

I loved the video! Can't wait to see the Concealer round up and the new foundations! I’m trying it for the first time today. So far I really like it!
It does an amazing job of making the face like a blank slate. Like all the shade in the face becomes one shade and it’s perfect for applying make up over it. It’s just sinks into pores a little bit

I'm really interested in trying this foundation, but Rose, Inc cream blushes are my favorite blushes. The lipsticks are great too. Excited to try more from the brand.

You said the magic word! SUQQU!!! It is a favorite brand of mine. I have a good collection of eyeshadow singles and palettes, blushes and lipsticks. I hope you love it. The Rose, Inc foundation is pretty on you. I gave up on her tint as I never could get a good match. I admit I didn’t try too hard as I really loved and still love the Chanel Fresh Water Tint. I, personally, haven’t found the Sephora color matching to be all that accurate. It’s been sort of hit and Miss for me. This foundation is one I will definitely consider when I want to try something new. I think you look great. I don’t think you really need concealer. I like to see the real you peak through. ❤️😘❤️
Suqqu!!! I am now addicted and it will be my ruin. That’s a Foreo matching is terrible. Even in store it is wrong. There’s no substitute for using your own eye and playing with the product in store.

It looks great on you Rebecca! Migraine gal here snd sometimes the scents kill me. I loved their bro set but had to give it away because the scent gave me an immediate headache! Their blushes are one of my two favorite cream blushes and they are scentless I think.
UGH!! Migraines are the WORST!!!! UGH!!!!! Yes, they are totally off or on with scent. It's so strange.
I missed your confetti on this foundation review. The shades are very hard to pick. I wouldn't say they ran light, but I had difficulty choosing the tint (the saving grace being so light in coverage) and the concealer. I have a problem of shades oxidising on me more often than not, so if I'm choosing between 2 I always go the lighter option. A good one to get a sample of. Your finished makeup looks lovely.
Carolyn, my staff is constantly forgetting the confetti. I am reviewing the Shiseido today so I hope they remember. haha.

I’ve worn this twice so far. The shades definitely run light. My #1 pet peeve right now is the photos companies use to show the shades. It’s really bad with foundation and concealer, but I’m finding it even lip products etc. While my skin tone is tan, I’m having to purchase shades shown on a model with a way deeper skin tone than mine. I also bought a neutral shade which leans warm. I find that often in the tan category. I am undecided on this foundation. I like it, but I’m not sure it’ll become my fave. I need to try it different ways first.
Carey, I keep threatening to do a video on color correctness on our computer screens but I can’t find a way to not make it boring but basically there’s really no such thing. From their screen onto our screen it’s so complicated
I think your finished look was absolutely beautiful! And those eyes, to die for! Of course the lip shade drew me in right away but i dont like those lip palette type thingies.
I wasnt familiar with Rose Inc. May be an unpopular opinion but i thonk your shade selection is perfect. It really brightens and livens up your face. Im finishing up skin tints, foundations, etc that i have before I dive into anything new. They are all pricey and i dont want them to go bad before i can use them up. Unfortinately, only one face!😂

I’ve been curious how this compares to the Prada foundation, just based on descriptions I started to imagine a similar finish. I agree with you about splitting hairs when comparing cosmetics these days-formulas in general have come so far in the last few years that it’s rare that a release is truly bad anymore!
Karen, the Prada is better all around. They are similar in that they both create a really even complexion and neither sink into lines but the Prada doesn't fall into pores. This one does and another comment here said the same. Fell into her pores.

I think the Rose Inc. portfolio needed a regular foundation. This looked pretty on you; shade match aside. I also wonder what the future holds for the brand since their parent company filed for Chap. 11 (Amyris) owing $1.3 billion.

My impression is this foundation will stand out with the daily wear it’s capable of without irritation or dryness or blackheads. This is the solution to so many people that think their “skin needs to breathe” after wearing foundation.
This line caters to fairest (and deepest) skin tones that can so often be left out. 🎉. It moves the shades.

well I had shade 7N in my cart about to order at Sephora, then after watching your review I went back to take the shade quiz (thinking it would go darker) and instead it recommended lighter. haha I give up so I am just going to go with my original and return if not the right shade.
I used the shade match on the Rose Inc site. I wonder what that would rec to you. But if you've ordered off Sephora already, do not look. I don't want you to worry. Let's see what you get when it arrives.
I remembered using and really liking the original rose inc one, this made me go back and use it again and it was so stinkin light! Lol I wish I had gotten it in a darker shade. Not too interested in this one though.

I’m skipping this one because I just bought the Prada foundation which I am loving. I don’t use much so between that and my Haus Labs, I am good with foundation for now. I’m glad you said that about the shades! I tried the concealer way back when and it was so light I didn’t even have anyone I could give it to! 😂 I couldn’t even judge the formula because it looked too crazy light on me!
I tried Suquu shadows for the first time this year….now I have 5 quads and got the Selfridges yearly shipping plan just to buy them. That pretty much tells the tale on how much I love the formulas! Whoever your friend is that gave you a quad, she is a good one!!

Quincey! Yes. It's a good foundation and, frankly, YEARS ago, it would have been a GREAT foundation....but now? Too much competition.

I love natural finish foundation or if i want slightly abit more coverage I'll add in a little bit of soft matte. So i was interested in this foundation but then i seen the price 😮 its nearly the same price as Hourglass. I think someone at Rose inc hit their head on something 🤔

My staff forgot and I have fired them all. That's the third time this month that I have fired them. (there's no staff. It's just me but I like to blame them)
I agree that foundations are getting better but still find that most of them do not work for me at all due to their either irritating my skin or making texture issues look worse. This one does not seem to be irritating at all and seems to do okay with my wrinkles, but oddly it seems to be making my pores look more noticeable even though I generally have no pore issues at all and even though they claim that it makes pores look better. Also, considering how much silicone it has in it and how expensive it is, I don't think that it's doing much in terms of making my skin look prettier or (as the Jones Road and Makeup By Mario foundations do) making my face look plumper/younger. The finish more just makes my skin look more dull and lifeless. But it is certainly better than most foundations out there and it is good to have more options. I chose 5N (Light Neutral - my best shade match is Haus Labs 100) and it definitely looked a little light on my hand, but it seems okay blended out. The Rose Inc. skin tint is still one of my favorite everyday go-to's, though.
I think your comment here is entirely accurate and really parallels my experience as well. Great on lines and evening skin tone but fell into pores.

Pores and texture are a bigg issue and I'm looking for a miracle. Jones Road balm did get a bad rap but I'm thinking I need to check that one out🤔

Hi Rebecca: Thank you for featuring the new Rose Inc foundation - I was hoping you would review it. I do think it’s way too light (you can deepen the shade by adding a few drops of Drunk Elephant’s D-Bronzi - if you plan on using it up). Since the foundation sinks into pores, it’s a pass for me. I do look forward to your upcoming foundation reviews. Thanks again!
YES! This def calls for the DE D Bronzi drops!!!
Is there alcohol in the foundation?
Not that I see unless it is going by another name as sometimes that happens with chemical formulas and they get by me. But traditional alcohol as it is usually listed for a dry drown effect is not there. :)
Don't forget that oxidation on alot of certain foundation is due to your body chemistry not the foundation itself sometimes its the ingredients that are in foundation might change your body blood type it's complicated 😮 and your heat 🔥 and veins interactions even medicines you're on can also Triggs so people always think it's the foundation but it's not ... weird right 😂
Very very true. They will often oxidize on me and this one did not so that was very strange

Yes, I do fear that's compensated reviews. That being said, it's very PRETTY and makes a nice, even tone to the skin.
