Thank you Asheritah....I am reminded today to stop living in panic mode and just go to the cross.

Glory to God. Panic is Satan's tool 🔧 to limit a Christian not to grow spiritually

I’m really sorry but it’s really hard for me to relate to Christians who share their experience with Jesus Christ like this. This feels like straight out of a hallmark commercial. It’s so super-sanitized and bland for something that’s talking about our Lord Jesus Christ. Like the struggle this lady is having is so far-fetched from what I believe people around the world are struggling with getting to know Jesus Christ. Why are we championing these stories that are mediocre at best? As I Christian, do you just get to a point where your struggles are only soaked in suburban obstacles like “the only quiet room your can pray in is the laundry room?” My questions are coming from a place yearning for a deeper relationship with our Lord there. Please tell me if I’m right about this video or if not, I beg you to educate me as I am always open to discussions. God Bless you all.

We are so glad you asked your question. Don't be sorry; but do let me encourage you to look at it in a much different way. This is truly Asheritah's experience. She came to faith out of a home where Jesus was taught and she received the instruction in the way she should go. She tells of God arresting her heart--giving her a passion for Him that she hadn't known, even though having known the Bible and going to church. For some their testimony is dramatic in what God saved them "from"--for Asheritah, He saved her "in" her family/church relationship. It is not as dramatic, but is just as meaningful a testimony! She is SAVED, and that is a miracle--whether from dramatic circumstances, or from common circumstances. Salvation is never mediocre. We are not championing any salvation story over any other. This is just one of many the stories we tell--some from the depths of darkness to others from the commonness of life. In her story now, hear her passion for Christ and finding Him in the stories of the Bible. She is truly excited about this. She is telling the story about what she has found since she has been saved. Might every believer find that same sense of longing and pleasure of His company as Asheritah seeks, and as you long for. One thing that might be very helpful for you in your longing for a deeper relationship would be reading Nancy's trilogy--"Brokenness, Surrender, and Holiness." I will be happy to send you this as our gift if you will contact me at info@reviveourhearts.com. Blessings, Sarah, with the Revive Our Hearts Team
