Vassendgutane is a Norwegian band from the village of Åmdalen in Ørsta, which plays its own variant of country which they themselves call "party-country" Vassendgutane has made great success as a concert band around Norway with its unpretentious and humorous twist on country music. The band consists of seven members and was started in 1996.
The debut album Pylse og konjakk was released in 2000 and in 2002 the sequel Gi clutch was released. The breakthrough nationwide came in 2005 with the album Ungkar with double bed, where the title track in particular became a popular song. Following the success of the album in 2005, in 2007 they released a concert DVD with recordings from a sold out concert at Rockefeller in Oslo. The 2008 XO album peaked on the VG list and sold to double platinum, with over 80,000 copies.
The Vassendgutane was a break in entertainment when the Spellemann Prizes for 2008 were awarded.
On April 10, 2011, Vassendgutane's studio album Risk Strap and Entry was released. This is the first studio album after the successful XO album from 2008.

Vassendgutane har kommet ut med 3 DVD'er. Men dette er fortsatt den beste. Best lyd og best koring.

The nicest thing about not understanding Norwegian is that you can enjoy the music and the singer without being distracted by the text of the song.
