As crazy as it may sound, this road is a SUPER HIGHWAY compared to the one in my village- Imo State.
The irony is Nigeria wants to build coastal highway like China and the US but they forget those people fixed their local roads, first!!!
They have new houses around the area. But the problem is the road.
If the government invest adequately in ikorodu. People can work on the island and live in ikorodu. By water at the water front

They have New Passport office over there now. You can do or Renew your Nigerian Passport over there. Just ask the Okada people that you are going to Passport office or NIS office.
How can one purchase a landed property over there?

The Oro folks scared a lot of people away from ikorodu.
There is Oro in Ibeju Lekki too, Ijebu and most Yoruba land.
Your pronunciation is funny,orita.😅I think it's pronounce ori ita,head of the Abode.ln Yoruba language if the same alphabet that ends a word starts the next word,you write one letter instead..In other countries they build a road before houses but in Nigeria people build houses without roads,and start crying bad roads,flooding etc.Nigerian cities are so big that they should have areas development agency.Lagos state should have lkorodu development agency,epe development agency,badagary development etc instead of waiting on the governor to come and build roads and other infrastructures for them.Thank you.
