I'm a little late but love this video. I'm waffling between a Common Planner and a Papertess because I've realized that I'm more of a notebook girl than a planner girl. I buy planners they become dated notebooks LOL I use notebooks I throw in a dated monthly and draw in everything else and I'm happy.

That little tote bag actually fit the a6 and the Hobonichi paper books. I have it on my desk with 2 paper books, 2 Hobonichi photo albums, a sticky note pack, and 4 thin pens...

A potential idea: I tabbed my daily pages with little flags in increments of 30 just so I have a visual marker and can see where I’m at but can remove as I go!
Love that!! I may do something similar! I also love the idea of like, using four pages in a day then cramming three days into one page hahah. Just the thought that flexibility may be nice … we shall seeeee

I’m using a personal rings as my planner and a midori hibino as my journal for 2024. The hibino was smaller than I realized but I still think it will work!

I felt the same way last year about the Common Planner and I did get one. However, I stop using it and then I start loosing track... I did want to tell you about the clear covers for the Common Planners. Sterling Ink did make them this year because last year nothing on the market exactly fit and the planners had problems because we forced them into other brands. The one I bought when I ordered my Common Planner this year fits great. However, I really love Lauren Phelps Designs clear covers and I heard someone say they fit Common Planners this year. I'm tempted to try it out. It was a fail last year. When I found your CZcams channel I was loving your style and all the info. I already subscribe to hundreds and I didn't want to add more. Anyway, I added you.

My first hobonichi ever was the English A6 for 2023. I honestly struggled with it quite a bit for the first half of 2023. The vibes were just off and I didn’t keep up with it at all. But in August, I came back to it and I’ve been backfilling it. So I totally understand your feelings there! 💗
Sometimes backfilling is truly the way to go!!!

I just love your planners. You're so creative. And we're Common Planner twins. I got the exact same thing you did. The cover, the size, and the gold foiling. I realized that I'm not really a planner. I don't have enough going on to plan. So my planner will be in my Apple Calendar. And my B6 Common Planner will be, to document my day. That's what I've always done. I'm using an undated half year now but I can't wait to start using the dated one. I'm extra excited to see how you use yours. I know it's going to be great. 😊

I love the intentions letter thing at the start of the common planner, such a great idea. Just so you know, the hobonichi have the day numbers printed underneath the moon phase on the daily pages, which is an easy way for you to see the number if you want to do it that way in the back of the CP. Hope 2024 is an amazing year for you ☺️

The Iridescent Pearl Kaweco Sport is just the regular Sport. The aluminum Sport is the AL Sport (AL for aluminum 😊). The pink longer one is the Kaweco Perkeo. Loved the video!

My Common Planner arrives tomorrow 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 And I’m no fountain pen expert, but can tell you that both of your shortie Kaweco pens are Sport. The AL prefix refers to “aluminum” your newer pearl one is a limited edition made of resin. Your longer Kaweco is their Perkeo model. Good to see you 🤗

AL refers to the material of the pen body, aluminum. The short pens are the Sport and the longer one is the Perkeo. Hope that helps!

We have a household Epson eco tank 2850! It is not perfect, but I don’t mind. Also have a canon ivy which prints on photo paper - again not perfect, but I don’t mind

They didn't "get creative" with using seahorses for the year of the dragon. The kanji (Chinese characters) for seahorse in Japanese literally means "the dragon's child." ☺️
Right! I love that the design team opted for seahorses as opposed to … full-sized dragons. 😂
Sadly I cannot recommend sterling ink, the stitching/binding was very disappointing I've never had this issue with hobonichi, currenrly falling in love with the weeks again... i am in the "keep it simple" season of life 😅, awesome video ❤
