Thanks for sharing,I enjoy watching ur video,so amazing
Brent, funny how similar my journey is. I too have an old craftsman saw from my father in law (1955 with the original books and guides). I have a homemade wood fence too. Very similar sled. And I often find myself in the driveway. Making inserts was a pain. I found a local metal shop here in the Chicago suburbs and they made me various version. Have come in very handy. Keep it up.
Great story!! I clicked the bell and you had me hooked when I saw the doggos....I also like woodworking videos too :) :)
Haha! Thank you! Glad to have you!
just subscribed because i love watching woodworking videos. Best of all I have 4 yellow labs lol
Sounds like a win/win to me! Happy to have you!
Hey, great inspiring video! WWMM also inspired me to start this journey of woodworking along with others.
Thank you very much! And it's amazing to think of the impact that WWMM has had over its run. What a great ambassador. Thanks for checking us out!
Watching a few of your videos through, you seem pretty handy around a saw to me... so I'm curious about your Father-in-Law's skill set. Have you ever considered having him join you for a video?
First of all, thank you for the compliment and thank you for supporting the channel! I imagine I will talk him into joining me for a video or two at some point. He’s in a different state than I am, so it would take some coordination. He’s a wealth of knowledge, though. He showed me how to build the table my Craftsman sits on and he built my rolling table (that I just added drawers to) for me when it was taking a long time for me to get back to his place. And those were easy projects by his standards. So I guess, stay tuned!
