It sounds like Kurt might have had undiagnosed achalasia like me. I was told for years I had GERD, irritable bowels, heartburn, and whatever else they could imagine. After years of trying to manage it, i eventually lost the ability to swallow and now need surgery. Achalasia is rare and doctors don't know what to look for in order to correctly diagnose it.

I don't understand why it's so unbelievable/improbable on Kurt sleeping under the bridge every once in a while. Especially in the none winter seasons. He could of had a sleeping bag and a bottle of water etc. And maybe he only did it once or twice.

Maybe his scoliosis was inflaming the vagus nerve?

I stopped feeling sick once I started to do 3-5 whole meals a day. Until that point I thought something was wrong with me.

His stomach issues might have been caused by his childhood trauma and unhealthy lifestyle unhealthy diet sure as hell made it worse
If he saw a therapist to heal his childhood wounds and adopted a healthy diet and lifestyle that could have most definitely helped him

Dude filled himself with poison and wonder why he had stomach issues. RIP Kurt but this shouldn’t be hard to understand. Smoking wasn’t helping either.

There really is no reason to sleep under a bridge since the 80s. There's always a better option. But kurt did hang out under that bridge a lot and would fish up till a friend said a factory was dumping into that river and the fish would be affected

If we have to go with absolutes, we have two options:
      1) People with chronic pain and non-visible disabilities are systematically underserved by the healthcare industry and as a result are more likely to self-medicate with whatever substances they have access to
      2) The second time a person touches anything restricted by the FDA they are immediately cured of any pre-existing health issues and anything that happens to them after is solely caused by their addiction and a lack of getittogetherness-gumption-by-the-bootstraps in their character
Since you seem to be leaning towards #2, I'm happy to hear that you and your loved ones don't have to deal with any debilitating chronic pain. Hopefully you never have to.
