Shiquiri is real magician: he makes $8 million in salary disappear. Just put an average MLS $60k/year defender on him and he's nothing.
This edit sucks. They didn't show the foul leading to FK goal nor the foul resulting in a VAR check. Make it literally 30-45 seconds longer....

Bridgeview is a terrible location, but that's fitting for this consistently terrible club.
Bridgeview was an absolute disaster because of the location and if fire were any good the attendance wouldn't be as much of an issue

The decision to invest 3 years in Shaquiri has been a disaster for the Fire. That's where all the team's $ is going.
The problem is the Fire changed their ownership only 5 years ago. And they are still at the bottom of the league. So I don't know the answer.

For a suburbanite, both Soldier Field and Bridgeview are terrible locations to go to, but it doesn't matter, you couldn't pay me enough to see a Fire game in person anyway. They are flat-out the most embarrassing and disgraceful team in MLS. Are there other bad teams in the league? Sure, but none with the same degree and length of ineptness, bad management, and worse ownership. The seats are and SHOULD be empty-there's no reason for fans to support this team any longer. The story is the same year after year after year. It's the "boy who cried wolf"; nobody believes it anymore. Things are never gonna change until they change, and it just doesn't look like things ever will change.
