Don’t miss the double- bill of the season! dance Immersion has brought CinnaMoon Collective & Pulga Muchochoma together for a must-see performance!
Join us May 2nd- May 4th at the Berkley Street Theatre, Toronto for the world premiere of “Surrendered Spirits” by CinnaMoon Collective and “MÀSCARA” an expanded work by Pulga Muchochoma! Though they are distinct pieces, both commissions investigate themes of ancestral legacy, displacement, and the impacts of immigrant experiences.
This premiere contemporary dance event features performances by Nickeshia Garrick, Irma Villafuerte, Viktor Kei, Pulga Muchochoma, and Kobèna Aquaa-Harrison.
"Surrendered Spirits" is a co-commission by curatorial and producing partners dance Immersion and Kaeja d’Dance.
"MÀSCARA" is a dance Immersion commission.
