NO CAP most guide's either talk predominantly on pre-aiming while some mostly on tracking. I was always wondering how to marry both into gameplay because I felt it was impossible to pre-aim every angle.
You summarized it so well in this vide - cheers and subbed as well!
this is an amazing guide which i feel that other guides often overlook. thanks so much subbed

@@theguide_val please make a jett guide first i want to main jett and destroy my elo
edge tracking is something ive never seen in guides
What's the difference between edge tracking (good) and rounding a corner(bad)? I'd presume it's to do with dealing with on vs off angles?
Dont use W and A/D use A and D and use your mouse
@@shadowmekar he is using w to edge track
Should have probably made that more clear, my bad. When you edge track, you shift walk around the angle, so when you see an enemy first because you have the angle advantage, then you can react and shoot first.
Rounding corners is a bad habit that players have when they strafe peek (without shifting) and it leads to the crosshair not being in the ideal position and not slicing the pie perfectly.
Hi, genuine question, how am i supposed to know if i should slice the pie or shift peek an angle ?
ty, and really nice video btw it's helping me a lot !
Rule of thumb is to slice the pie on common angles and shift peek off angles ground. However depending on the situation it can also make sense to slice the pie on an off angle if you think there is a high chance someone could be there. For example when I play attack on Ascent it is common for defenders to play off angles in B main. So this would be a case where I would really take my time to slice the pie on these off angles too so I am more ready for a fight and don't just walk into a waiting crosshair.
@@theguide_valokayyyy ! yeah i get it now XD, thank you for answering so quickly btw ! =D
Does angle advantage also play into whether we shift peek or slice the pie? I'm just imagining a scenario where they see our shoulder while we're being slow, and have infinitely more time to react
yeah usually slice the pie when you are close and shift peek when you are far. think about it. if someone is super close to the corner and you're far (angle advantage) you should definetly shift peek because you can probably see them before they even see you@@lucakukuk628
Yeah, angle advantage always plays a role but when you shift peek it's not as important because everything happens quicker and so we're not slowly showing them our shoulder for example.
