Wellerman -violin (how to give it a folk fiddle sound)

Here's a fiddle lesson on The Wellerman. This is a sea shanty made famous by Nathan Evans and the Longest Johns. I show the basic melody, with onscreen sheet music, for violin in the key of C minor, plus the more fiddle friendly D minor. I suggest some fiddle ornaments, drones and double stops, and demonstrate some possible backing parts. @@TheFiddleChannel Здравствуйте! Да, русский забавный, но я Вас прекрасно понял. Спасибо за ответ. Я увлёкся скрипкой три года назад. Но в мои 54 года, конечно, я не смогу освоить скрипку. Моя 12 летняя дочь ходит в музыкальную школу. Это была моя идея. Моя цель: научиться играть то, чему учат дочку. Я случайно увидел Ваше исполнение 7.40. Очень понравилось. Начал учить. Подписался на Ваш канал. Вы очень просто и понятно исполняете. Жаль, что я не знаю английский. Но Ваши уроки понимаю визуально. Исключение: не понятно где двойные ноты играть.

@@user-xj6nu9ej8l Привет, Гвоздь. Никогда не поздно начать играть и добиться прогресса!. Изучение мелодии на слух, безусловно, полезно, но изучение гамм и смычковых узоров облегчает перевод этого на скрипку. Было бы полезно изучить некоторые основные принципы поклона. Я подумаю о видео на эту тему.
