Omg I just stripped my bike down and I'm about to service this suspension. Thanks
thanks for the instructions, I just bought the lower part of the shock and will replace it with the oil service according to your manual :)
2:04 Regarding the socket. I got a mini set that fitted no need to grind it down. But i had to drill the socket out inside so the rebound nipple could pass to fit the nut , on the left fork. A diamond tip drill bit for tiles went through the tool steel easy.
interesting! Thanks. I've never seen the insides of one of these. good job! (BTW, that is called a "set screw") 😉
Thanks lol I forget the names of stuff sometimes
I know. It's hard to do those videos while working and trying to narrate everything accurately at the same time. You're doing a good job describing the procedure and that's what's important! besides those screws have a million names (set screws, grab screws, pinch screws....depending where you're from... 🙂 )
You put the washer under the pre-load sleeve during reassembly, should go at the top, otherwise you won't be able to set the preload, as the pre-load adjuster is narrower than the plastic sleeve. And it appears that you are missing one of the white piston rings on a rebound rod.
sabras cuanto aceite utiliza por barra la Marzocchi Drop Off Triple ???
9:28 It's like you put the wrong type of oil seal in , and it is not tight like it should. I hope there are no leaks ?
The fork works perfectly fine not sure what you mean
@@RetroRebuilds The oil seal in your video has the spring on the upper side, normally this is only viewable by the underside. perhaps you put another type of seal ?
Oh yeah that was an older NOS seal kit those must’ve been different
