Northeast Foundation & Concrete released groundbreaking technology utilizing 3D GPS Autopilot for its Slipform Paver.
On the Jobsite with Kinsley Construction, Northeast Foundation & Concrete performed machined curb without the need for stringline. Over the course of two days, NEFC poured 3,452’ of curb with our Wirtgen SP15i and the Wirtgen Autopilot 2.0 stringless system. The accuracy of this system kept our machine from deviating no more than .02” for grade and .05” for steering. Making this more efficient and accurate than stringline could ever be. System implementation of Ackerman Steering Geometry provides much smoother and accurate radii, enabling the execution of 2’ radii. As we further our experience we expect to increase our efficiency, allowing for more linear footage to be poured with less time on site. Please reach out to us to learn more about our technology and how we can improve the condition of your Jobsite.
We would like to thank Kinsley Construction for allowing us to perform our practical training on their beautiful Jobsite. Wirtgen America for providing an exceptional machine and technology. As well as Groff Tractor and Equipment for their support.
