Hi E, did Photoshop, Lightroom, PR, Final Cut Pro work good? Any bug on this new MacOs?
Nothing major so far. Lightroom and FCP work great. There a little glitches connected to widgets and wallpapers I’ve noticed. Another user reported some syncing issues with OneDrive, which I can’t report about.

@@lacuswongq7839 I'm currently using MBP 16 with M1 Pro and HDR & display bleeding has gone crazy after the update.
Also the widgets transparency doesn't work when you swipe between desktops. Rest everything is working smoothly
All we care about is perfect optimised adobe software. Let's be honest. That's the main reason people have Apple macs

@@gopaal9424 pretty awesome ngl, most of the time i left it unplugged during my working hour, I only charge it at the next day. Quickcharge really helps so i only ever plug it in for an hour or 2 then i unplug the charger and just let it run on battery mode most of the day
Apple is so annoying releasing these useless OS versions every second. I’m a music dude and Apple garbage os updates keep requiring music equipment manufacturers to keep up and sometimes it becomes obsolete. Some of the useless updates Apple did on my iPhone crashed my phone and some of my photos and videos got erased forever!! APPLE, STOP IT!!! 😡… or I will switch back to windows and tell my music buddies too.
i updated my computer and IMMEDIATELY came to youtube to search how to turn off that tap wallpaper feature! I'm so glad it was the first thing you touched on as this feature was so annoying lol great rest of your video as well! thank you
I absolutely LOVE that "Click wallpaper to reveal desktop". That and the desktop widgets are the best 2 features. Now the desktop is my productivity starting point with shortcuts, notes folders view for quick access to my important and recent notes etc.
Maybe it will grow on me at some point
@@ThisIsE when you minimise or click to desktop, you can see the apps swooshing away to the sides of the desktop, and it is very visible overlapping my desktop side panels, can it be less visible?

The Import from iPhone was also available previously. I've used it many times and I'm currently on macos Ventura

I'm still running Monterey on my 14" MBP M1...any reason to update to Sonoma? My laptop is running fine and not sure if I should risk updating it considering Apple dropping the ball in the past on iOS and OS updates

@@ThisIsE After about 3 weeks, so far, so good. However, I have pushed the 8GB of RAM to the limit and would recommend anyone beyond a casual user to pay for the step up to 16GB of RAM. Other than that, it has been great, and I can easily recommend it to anyone. Because others trust my recommendations, I purposefully got the base model so that I would know how well it performed under my daily rigger, and I'm a geek who pushes the limits :-) Accordingly, if it has worked this well for me, the average user should never break a sweat. How do you get rid of this awful Clean My Mac X? I tried to delete it from my apps, but it comes back every time I reboot my MacBook!

Probably wipe your entire system and reinstall everything. It’s notoriously difficult to get rid of these programs. Get Daisy Disk and Onyx instead.

There´s a toggle for it if you don't switch off "Click wallpaper to reveal desktop". You can hide both items and widgets on the desktop, and then click it to reveal it.

You can use the battery widget to keep track of the charge on all of your iCloud devices.
It appears that you can no longer assign apps to particular desktops on Sonoma i.e. Control click on app in Dock does not bring up the options to assign to all desktops, etc. Did that function get moved in Sonoma?

That's either a bug or very pure UI choice - language change is now almost hidden. Previously it showed a large squared window in the middle of the screen, just like with voulme or brightness, but now it's either hidden or ppear next to the text that's being written. Any idea how to fix that?

You can use hot corners to set a corner to push all the apps to the corners which reveals the items when hidden.

I hope this channel starts doing some videos about iOS gaming! Some amazing aaa console games coming now which is going to open the floodgates for quality gaming on an iPad/iphone. There really are such few channels that include iOS gaming which is deep, so many games for everyone.

@@ThisIsE I think it could be a greatway to further expand your channel with some additional content as yours is the best one out there. Also it’s a very exciting time right now as in the next 4 months we have resident evil village, death stranding, Little nightmares and resident evil 4 all coming to iPhone and iPad which has never happened before on this scope. Gaming analysts are already betting on apple finally going serious on the gaming front as the market is already huge but very few people cover it which is a shame since in reality it’s one of the few entertainment mediums that’s actually used by absolutely everybody, young, old, wives, grandparents etc as there’s something for everybody.
Gaming is shocking on the mac in terms of availability. The spec however is more than capable of handling them. Please give us COD Warzone!

It had been a while since I had used macOS with a mouse instead of a trackpad. I had literally started doing again so in the past month. I immediately complained to my buddy about this and now they are fixing the acceleration issue. OMG are they listening? 👀

presenter overlay is good if the other person is not using Teams /zoom.
It's pretty much the same Zoom and FaceTime
So I feel this update is mainly just wallpapers and apple iPhone and mac integration. I use a Samsung phone so not a great update for me in terms of features.

I'm just glad Sonoma didn't break anything. A bunch of apps like BBedit and Bartender (both are great!) had updates to fix issues with Sonoma but everything was very smooth.
Sonoma scattered all of my desktop files which were well organized and I can't figure out how to return it back to my original desktop organization.

I first got a Mac when Snow Leopard was around and I liked getting the yearly update, but eventually I felt like the Macs would get a bit faulty every year there was an update (I often miss the older generation software too even though they do get better). The Mac I use now is the 2019 Macbook so I decided to leave the sofware as it was when bought it (I get the normal "bug fix" updates just not the big yearly update) @@ThisIsE
