Honestly I wish you could decide how your characters feel about each other. Like sure, by default they don’t know each other and become friends, but wouldn’t it be cool if you could decide that characters had different relationships? Like, you could pick ‘Old Friends’, ‘Lovers’, ‘Rivals’, or ‘Enemies’ to name a few, and they could have different “friendship” perks from the default. Idk, I just lament that we don’t see enough of the quarrel relations in this game
When I was playing the 3ds version, I used to be the tank class, and I made a character which I purposely only used as the human cannon so I could do more damage in Realm of the Fey. Similar kinda thing lol.
Should totally be a mechanic in a sequel if ever there were one

i love how quarrels are inherently helpful as they allow other teammates to butt in during turns and even deal major damage together despite being mad at each other
Still net negative given assists do lot more damage even if scuffle is like powerful.

Still think quarrels are surprisingly powerful for what they're meant to be. Though love still trumps hate, by a long run.
I feel like losing access to relationship skills usually makes quarrels not worth it, but I definitely agree that some of the quirks are unironically pretty useful. Especially "Angry" if you play as Chef or Tank.
@@zerousage8744 the fight quarrel is very strong too, exchanging one turn and a literal pinch of hp for about 600 damage. Or you can a +3 pincer attack and get like 600 - 999 damage depending on your miis' physical attack. Not to mention just casually defying death itself.

holy crap i totally didn’t expect you to just two shot that damn red feind as a lot of people myself included can’t beat him because he’s so overpowered i just wish that the gun type blast could kill other bosses too that would make having to grind unnecessary which would save a ton of time in beating the post game in my opinion but unfortunately i don’t think it would work on more powerful bosses but anyways awesome video keep up the good work my friend

late comment but basically:
The red fiend isn’t considered a boss enemy in the games files.
So instakill skills (like Righteous Anger and Monster Dinner) can instakill it.
@@the_mars_bar the fact that it’s not a boss enemy isn’t tied to the enemy, but to the encounter. Lots of enemies can show up as a boss and also as a regular enemy

Only the Red Fiend in the Tower of Despair is NOT a boss enemy, so Righteous Anger, Monster Dinner, and Demonic Whisper have a chance to instantly kill it.
Remember, That everybody needs a fight in their lives even with your closest friends to -BEAT GOD- Overcome many Challenges.

If your mii is in a quarrel with another mii, and that mii that is in a quarrel defeats a monster, then the cranky status may kick in.

How did you even manage to keep the quarrels until they all get angry at each other???
I avoided fully completing stages and gave all of the teammates jobs that didn't have any relationship-boosting skills.

@@RapidRiley722 I had the Chef as the player character so I could just avoid using those moves. Except in the Boss Snurp fight because of Crying status.
Im just kinda curious how you went about getting the mega quarrel
I went down the "Don't do it" path in District 4 several times. The map events in that level are some of the only ones in the game that never go away, so you can keep replaying that stage to get many quarrels if for some reason you want to.

I just took the "Don't do it" path in the first stage of District 4 a few times.

I would share it, but I don't have a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
How did you do it in 40 minutes ?
I mostly just had a lot of damage output between the Spicy skills, Sweet Whispers, and the Trouble and Interrupt abilities from all the quarrels.
U should have used tank human canon is good
@@sarajadi8184 personally I don't think tanks would be a good idea for the Tower of Despair since MP is as important as HP here, and if you run out, you're screwed.
What level are they?
Everyone was Level 50.
When I got the full game on my birthday the quarrels gotten really bad there were fighting, interruptions, moody miis, and distractions.
Pro tip if you don't have them solved, get a popstar. They have an action that instantly solves quarrels.

querles dont seem that bad, the damage you can receive from them late game is literally un-noticable, although team attacks and pincers are probably way stronger

You die very quickly. I tried messing around with having no job in the post-game a while back and it's pretty much unplayable past the early levels.
