Yesterday I went to a mushroom festival:) I loved it I did things I didn’t expect myself to get a little fear😭 because I have social anxiety 😭🙏

@@SquareOneCosplay there were stands, food, snow cones, plants, plushies,bubble guns, uh big ballon hammers, and more, then actives were bouncy houses, slides, three carnival games and these two thing I tried but there were this tube with straps you had to climb to the top and I was very scared almost fell😭 but gotten to the top also rock climbing but I didn’t do it, and there was this thing where you get strapped and jump up and down but my heights got the best of me😭, and also a train I didn’t go on it. And I gotten some cool stuff like a long kitty🙂

I was wondering if you guys had any tips/advice for closeted beginner cosplayers with unsupportive parents? Also do you guys have tips/advice on how to safely store and get your cosplay materials with out your parents finding out?

Hi, so I had a whole cosgroup when I was your age, I had members whose parents threw their stuff OUT.
It’s not really safe for you to be trying to secretly cosplay. However, I have these two pieces of advice.
My first piece of advice is to just develop your skills relating to cosplay. Sewing and makeup or even wig styling are not frowned upon socially. Start now and practice on necessary skills so when you can cosplay, you will already be super talented.
You can cosplay at a supportive friend’s house who also wants to cosplay/cosplays. Then you can use their stuff. But I’d only recommend this if they already have stuff/you can trust their parents.
Do what you can to stay SAFE and to fuel your creativity!
