Definitely! I can understand why high-volume creators like Kira & Rachel rely so much on hotglue, simply for speed & sanity, but it's awesome to see something that might last a lot longer and not get trashed, causing lots of extra emvironmental waste? Although I can only imagine how challenging it must become trying to find storage space for all the finished outfits! 😅

Having worked in a craft supply store myself, I can assure you that sorting stuff by size and color was the most satisfying thing to do whenever we got a new delivery! :D

I love sorting things so much! I recently knocked my little boxes with hooks and eyes over. Usually they are sorted in these small compartments but the compartments don't go up all the way to the lid so when I dropped it everything got mixed. I was bummed for two seconds and then remembered I could sort everything haha!

Absolutely delightful!!!! So cute. The more formal jacket works perfectly with the whimsical leaf skirt! The bows on your shoes are such a darling touch. Very clever making the skirt able to be worn as a cape. I think the time it took to sew all those leaves on the skirt was well worth the effort!!! I liked that the witch turned out cute rather than scary!!

And as you I like to sort things, when I'm in a bad mood, I can just dump a box of craft materials on the floor and sort them all day. I think the task given to Cinderella by her evil stepmother (to sort through a bag of groats and the like that) would give me more pleasure than a stupid ball with a stupid prince!

A couple of years ago I made a leaf cape for an autumn witch costume. It's so much fun to look like a pile of leaves, isn't it? The skirt-- indeed the whole outfit-- came out looking great!

I think you are right about you knowing what you are doing, this was Next Level, the video and sewing have a polish that your previous stuff did not have.
With the brown base fabric you could have a winding dirt path in the skirt if you didn't have enough leaves to cover everything. Small the the waist and wide at the hem so it looks like it is dwindling in the distance. The sticks would make a terrible broom, but they make very stylish withcy transportation.
Perfect fall or Halloween outfit depending on the accessories. Thanks.

OMG!!! I squealed when I saw the title of this video - I am working on a skirt just like this right now! As a fair skinned ginger who lives in the Deep South of the US (where summer temps hover at around 100 degrees F / 38C with nearly 100% humidity) summer is not my friend & autumn cannot come soon enough (& generally takes FOREVER to get here)!
