So when you look at that ethical egoism, morals are not based on something solid; It's basically based on hedoistic ideas. Therefore hedoistic ideas are simply egoist, individualist ideas and when you look at the big picture, they are literally the same thing. Selfisness. When you don't have any steady meaning of life, reasons, you just keep focusing on yourself.
