This is Gackt's PV for his song Setsugekka, This is also used as the theme in the upcoming Samurai Warriors 3. Setsugekka means "Snow, Moon, and Flowers" and came from a poem by Bai Juyi about serene beauty.

This song reminds me of when I had that obsession with Mitsunari from Samurai Warriors and I would always listen to this song when I tried writing some angst or depressing fanfiction.

Funny enough this single plus the other song that was paired with this one, Zan, was used as themes for Samurai Warriors 3. I'm a huge fan of the series myself.

My god, I remember when this song came out and I obsessed over it. It's been a little over 8 years (from when I made this comment). I started college and remember listening to this song while working on projects for my graphics design class. I can't believe it's already been almost a decade...
Oh my god yeah this has been uploaded for 9 years now haha. It feels like only a couple years ago when this single came out. I remember this and Zan being created for the Samurai Warriors series. One of the releases that really got me into Gackt.
And now he teaches fitness, lol.
I saw your reply and related so hard!! I did the exact same thing. It's had to have been about 10+ years now for me, but I couldn't get over this song at one point and played it all the time.

It's a really nice contrast with the heavier B-side, Zan, both songs used in Samurai Warriors 3. Wish Gackt would make something like this again, I genuinely think it's one of his best.
