#Hasbro Star Wars Black Series wave 27 doesn't have as many "GOTTA HAVE THAT" figures as wave 26, but it's especially nifty if you missed any recent exclusives. Return of the Jedi Han Solos, Luke Skywalker, and Leia. A clean Phase 1 Clone Trooper on the new improved body. But the biggies for me in the Mandalorian Armorer and Incinerator Trooper.

The shine is likely gloss varnish so that the paint doesn't scratch. You can always add a matt varnish to kill the shine yourself

That Leia sculpt is amazing! Is no one gonna mention the Mando boxes have different wording on them? One doesn’t have ‘Star Wars’ written on it?? My OCD is killing me right now.
I saw Yakface on Twitter post this morning that there is a running change, later versions get the "Star Wars" on it.

I don't collect the 6" series, only vintage collection, but that packaging looks fantastic, i can also appreciate it taking up less space.

That SHFiguarts Luke is still the best likeness in my opinion.
I'm holding out hope that Hasbro knocks it out of the park in 2023 with some sort of ROTJ anniversary deluxe Luke.

Like I keep package of some figure cause of accessories, but then I would toss if I don’t need it. Like it’s Robo’s toys. Let him take out the trash jeeze lol
I like the new packaging just because if you hang them to a wall you can still see the box art. And the old boxes barely had any art.
The only thing I hate about the new package style is that it has the same issue with the marvel legends box we got in 2019 where the window box is a separate part from the actual box instead of it being glued from inside the box.
packaging like hasbro's with angled sides are automatically on my trash. annoying to keep and bad to look at. plus there's not much accessories to have a reason for it as a storage.

I cannot wait for the Incinerator Trooper, it's not out in the UK until December but still, super excited. Plus what better way to end a day of zoom meetings but to be greeted by another Fwoosh video and a shipping notice for the Black series 40th Anniversary Wampa and Marvel Legends Logan and Charles.

They have yet to ship my Ezra, Zeb, and stormtroopers. I’m getting impatient because I’ve seen Ezra and Zeb at GameStop a few times and passed on them because dorkside.

The old clone mold still looks better to me. The new ones have too small shoulder pads, too big helmets and the knee pads working like that are a bummer.
Same here man the old one looks much better to me. The old wider body armor looks better than the slim body for the new one as well. That bending flexible shoulder pad is absolutely terrible.

Oh I’ve been waiting for that Endor Han since black series started. Maybe I’m the only one to say that especially with all the good figures in this wave, but I had the power of the force Endor Han when I was little and it was always my favorite. So for me it’s amazing to have now!

I think that might be my favourite version of Leia. The outfits she wears on Hoth and in The Force Awakens are up there too.

@6:54 so glad you pointed out the different sheens Robo! I first noticed this on my ESB Lando, which had such a drastically different sheens that the purples were different shades! It seems as if the plastic used for the thigh tops is harder plastic - possibly they can’t use the same (cheap) plastic used on the rest of the body for being too soft, and the leg pegs from the crotch would break? I dunno, just trying to figure out why in the world they’d use such drastically different types of plastic that they can’t even be bothered to paint to match between the rest of the thigh/leg! There’s other mix n match plastics and it’s an eye sore, because the shiny and matte plastic doesn’t even appear where you’d expect it! And the shiny photo real, enuff already! Can they really not do it in matte? I don’t recall Island Rey or some of the others being sweaty shiny happy people so why does every single photoreal figure look like they are fighting malaria or drug withdrawal? I’m guessing it must be money related and shiny is cheaper. Otherwise why all this distracting mix of plastics and shiny faces to completely distract from nice sculpts and near Figuarts realism for faces?? I really don’t want to sound like a “bitch n moan ‘bout everything” because I am not like that (or have I become one of them? Arghh!) but I swear it’s like everytime Hasbro pulls out a win someone steps up and says no, you can’t do that stuff that well! And sabotages it! Hasbro has been infiltrated with enemy agents determined to make Star Wars fans suffer in any way possible no matter how small...does Pablo Hidalgo moonlight at Hasbro? Lol!

Just got the Incinerator Trooper today, and I took a bit of a gamble to find out if the backpack could be removed from the base body.
Indeed it can. The head will need to be heated up and popped off, but everything else comes off pretty easily.
- Two hoses attach to the bottom of the tank. One is tabbed in, and the other is pegged in. The one seen at 22:33 shouldn't be glued; it's just a peg with a snug fit. You'll be able to pop it off and on without anything snapping.
- Same thing with the strap at 22:50 where it attaches to the back of the tanks. It's another peg that pops on and off.
You can really get a feel for the quality molding and material they used. Usually softer rubbery plastics are finicky to work with, but these feel very smooth when detaching and reattaching them. Nice to see Hasbro not cutting corners.
The armorer is so cool. I just got mine today, I love everything about the character and what she represents. My figure if the year!!

Was lucky enough to get the HasbroCon versions--Luke and Leia on the speeder bike together looks incredible and is one of my favorite setups of my Black Series figures!

You didn't show it, but Luke fits well onto the Speeder Bike from a few years ago. His poncho is loose enough that you can flare it out behind him to give the illusion of movement!

Interesting that Hasbro rolled out almost a whole complete wave of ROTJ figures (Luke Endor, Han Endor, Leia Endor, Admiral Ackbar, Ewok Teebo, Heroes Of Endor Set with Speeder Bike, and another Biker Scout in Gaming Greats line, though inspired from JFO it’s still a ROTJ figure) before the upcoming 40th Anniversary. I know we’ll still get a bunch more, but to satisfy all the OT zealots out there they got off to a good start. These Endor looks turned out nice. Thanks for reviewing!

That Han might be my definitive Han, but wonder if the old Han gloves could fit. Wish I could have gotten Walmart Luke but this one looks pretty good. My biggest issue is I really wish the elbow and knee pads on the clone weren't glued down, id at least like the knee pad to line up with the shin. It rotating to the side with the thigh just bugs me to no end.

I can’t wait to army build that clone Trooper. I too got the Endor set but I got another Luke from this wave so I could try and make a throne room version of him. Incinerator trooper is amazing too but I skipped the armorer since I’m getting the figuarts one that comes out next year.
HANDS DOWN 1 of the BEST waves a Sarlacc escape Solo could be done very easily. Just add DL-18, Take off vest and holster and done. the whole wave looks so good in toy photography pictures. I just wish Luke had a hook on his belt 📷 great review Robo 👌
The belt only going over only the front of the ponchos is how it was done on the vintage Endor Leia figure and the actual costumes.

You can take off the tank on the Incinerator Trooper’s back, the middle connection is almost a little ball joint, but it is tough to pop back in, but I use one of the old stormtrooper rifles and leverage it back in lol

Just got my delivery in from Dorkside today. Opened the case and inside was the sealed Hasbro box. But inside that box were two Han Solos and no Luke Skywalker. A bit disappointed. My friend told me that it must be that they always pack in a duplicate but the order didn't have any duplicates in this wave.
That sounds like a mix-up all the way back to Hasbro's factory packing it out. You order a case Dorkside packs the case and sends it. If you contact them they should be able to help you out.
I know they not very popular but i really hope black series release some Prince Xixor and Dash Rendar figures one day.

If you have any painting ability at all the Bandai speeder bike kit is amazing. It's really expensive right now, but it's getting a reissue from Bluefin soon.

Hello! I have a question: I noticed that in SOME packaging of the "Incinerator Trooper" ( 22:00 ) Some packaging has "The Mandalorian" print on it and some have "Star wars: The Mandalorian". I was wondering if anyone else knows if this is a MISPRINT or ERROR? Cause I have one of each and I just can't find any answers online if anyone knows whats the reason behind this? Thanks! Looking forward to have a little conversation down here on it! Curious!

It's too big and the detail's soft in comparison to the original sculpt.
The helmet is warped, one side looks fine but the other looks bent lol

On a toy hunt looking the the target exclusive deluxe mando I found an incinerater stormtrooper. But didn’t find mando. I even looked every in 2 different targets but still found nothing. Anyway the incinerater stormtrooper is badass

I passed on the rebel Hoth trooper and the RotJ figures. I’ll get the RotJ figures when they’re repacked on vintage cards for the 40th in 3 years. The rest of the figures are awesome though. Found them at Walmart.

@@hyperfire1134 I’ve been buying way too much lately. Gotta make cuts somewhere. 99% chance these will be repacked for the 40th, so I’d rather have them in that packaging. Though I do already have the 3.75” Leia and Han in vintage packaging from 06-07. But the likeness on these 6” ones are way better.
I'm sure we'll see the Luke without poncho but with the panel swapped out when it comes time for the Return of the Jedi 40th.
