My sweetheart and I danced to Joni's hits every Friday at our teen club in the late fifties. We married in 1961 had three children. Our marriage last 57 years and 13 days. This music brings back so many memories of the love of my life and the fabulous 50s and wonderful time to love and live.

Many great singers have recorded Your Cheating Heart but her version was the very best...It was # 2 on Billboard's national chart in February 1963 ...Hank Williams had died just about a month earlier...I hope Hank heard her sing his beautiful song...
Saw her twise at Lake Wood Pa. 1956 & 1960 just love her bough my first record in 1954. A 78rpm. Still have them & 45 rpm. Lp. + About 20 CD. She was so Poppler in the 50ies. That's what I'm playing now Your cheating heart. Why don't you believe me it's 2:15 am trying to relax so I can get some sleep oh yeah a glass of wine hope it works
