Monthly "THE GATHERING" Continues to highlight local black street dance culture and music. From commencement to closure, there will be a clear demonstration of dance genres indigenous to the Black diaspora. Local street dance communities including communities have pledged their participation to raise awareness about the cultural significance of their respective dance forms. Throughout our monthly event, there will be opportunities to witness dance cyphers that will test the fortitude of each participant based on their knowledge, practice, and study. Ultimately, we desire to expose and align the work of the street dance community with that of the broader dance community as a point of order. As our event continues to grow, we need support to cover expenses on the rental to ensure this monthly event is an experience for the dance community and the general audience, who love to witness incredible movement and networking. By donating, we will have a more significant opportunity to reach our goals to provide an amazing experience. The Funds will cover:

Yes! For sure go back and watch some of his older mvs. He’s always been a phenomenal performer. Heavily influenced by MJ, Chris Brown, Omarion, Usher… you can see it in a lot of his movements etc. He’s worked with some amazing choreographers over the years some of which have worked with artists like Omarion and J Bieber etc:

Could you do XG at the head in the clouds NY choreography break down. It’s the same one you broke down before just in front of a live crowd. Would love to hear you speak on the differences of a live crowd vs a closed setting.
Taeyang has always been a performer who's had a strong performance style and vibe. If you like him just styling it out during his performance like he did at the beginning of this MV you should check out his live performance on Mcountdown of 1am from 2014. To me that performance is so purely him. You'll know exactly who he is after watching that live performance. The way he handles and connects choreography to his own movement and how he approaches live singing while moving. It's fantastic. That performance might be a little bit more a a deep rather than some of his other stuff that he's done that's more well known. But, its really worth it.

Plus trainee years taeyang been in the industry more than 20 years. Alongside Gdragon. Even though a lot of newer kpop fans discredited bigbang. Their impact is undeniable in the kpop industry. Bigbang(taeyang’s group) help build YG, a small struggling company back then. Recently, GDRAGON(leader of bigbang) contract with YG is expired, YG stocks were plummeting (120 millions+) in just two days of that news released.

You really need to check out Taeyangs song "Where U At". MV - it is great and the 2 dancers with him in the MV were his dance teachers from America. You will know them both if you look at there names. they helped Taeyang to find his groove/dance that suits him and allow him to sing also. he is a brilliant Artists and his Solo Concerts and his group Big Bang concerts are so dope. As they got older there choreo became less and more the groove, but he can still dance with the best of them. Love his work.
Ok, now you have to check out Jay Park. He’s a Korean-American who grew up in Seattle and was in a dance crew, Art of Movement. He does Korean hip hop and RnB. I love that he always puts out a performance vid for a lot of his songs to showcase his dancing. Hope you have a chance to check him out!
