    INGREDIENTS:
    1 large napa cabbage (about 2.9 kg)
    3/4 cup salt
    3 cups water
    1/2 cup rice flour (you can use regular rice flour instead)
    1/4 cup sugar
    3/4 cup fish sauce (You can reduce the amount of fish sauce if you're using small napa cabbage)
    3/4 cup korean hot pepper flakes (gochugaru)
    2 tbsp grated garlic
    2 tbsp minced onion
    1 tbsp minced ginger
    1 cup korean raddish (shredded)
    3/4 cup green onions (sliced)
    1/4 cup shredded carrots
    NOTE: If you don't have rice flour you can replace the porridge by making the following: take 1/4 of a fuji apple + 2 tbsp of cooked rice + 4 tbsp of water and blend them together in a mixer or blender.

    Thank you for this recipe! This is the best recipe for using one nappa cabbage. Most tutorial uses more than one so it's hard for me to guess the amount for the other ingredients if ever I only use one cabbage 😅 thank you so much ❤️❤️

      You can use 1/2 regular rice flour, and to make it a bit sour taste let the jar sit out on the counter for 3 days, Then pop in the fridge, which allows the flavors to round out and combine, for weeks.

    Yung sakin mga 12 hours ko lang finerment... Kc yung nauna batch na ginawa ko ang asim na maxado... Mga 1day yun... Mas ok sakin yung asim ng 12hours lng... Hindi pa xa maamoy... Plus nag add aq ng fresh ginamos na hipon mga 2 tbps... Sarap sarap... :)

      Leave it at room temperature for 2 days before putting it in the fridge to ferment.In the refrigerator, it stays fresh much longer - about 3-4 months and continues to ferment, which may lead to a sourer taste, Thank you for visiting hope you like it :)

    I made my kimchi and let it to ferment at room temperature for 12hours.It taste sour and I put it in the fridge.I want to know more about the fermentation process,which is when can I get the fully fermented kimchi after I put it in the fridge?

      Hindi pwede ang cornstarch nak, ganito nalang gawin mo palitan mo nalang ng kalahating fuji apple ang rice flour balatan mo ang apple at ilagay ang kalahti sa blender at yun ang ilagay mo wag na yung rice flour. Thank you for watching ❤️I really appreciate 😊❤️God Bless

      Oo i drain mong mabuti ang tubig sa cabbage nak, Ganito gawin mo ilagay mo sa ref pero maglagay ka rin ng kimchi sa isang maliit na garapon wag mo ilagay sa ref after 3 days pwede na sya kainin, Yung sa ref mga 3 weeks to 1 month pa.
