Its important to remember that as per these figures your approx 3.5 times more likely to die at the hands of the police than at the hands of terrorists..And bear in mind the police are 100% acting for your safety whilst terrorists are acting 100% to KILL you...
      So either the police are very good at being terrorists or should we trust terrorists more than the police when it comes to public safety...

    It’s London holding cells which means anyone on trial up at say the old Bailey will be held there whilst their case is ongoing rather than travelling between their prisons and London everyday and also the metropolitan data management centre where they control major operations from. It used to be where the forensics department was but that is now carried out by private firms as to not be coerced by the polices wishes

    Dont write us old ones off. Just had my 70th birthday and I follow you all the time. Remember we were the generation of Vietnam war protest. The tiger doesn't lose its fire just it's energy. I'm still protesting. The use of cameras has brought the eye of truth to what we used to say but weren't believed. I can tell you as an old hand the gum chewer is a tyrant, not a bully but shrewd. I wouldn't trust him as far as i could throws him, acts all friendly then takes something you say twists it and stitches you up. He knew exactly what you were doing. If he wasnt on camera he'd have pushed the ID. Calculated you weren't worth messing with. That's his job as he sees it, he won't see it as unacceptable. But policing has to change.

    • @arthurpint8317
      @arthurpint8317 Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, it was called Lambeth holding cells. If you were at court and got remanded in custody, you would travel to lambeth holding cells in a sweatbox police van. You would get put into a cell with everyone else that has been remanded from various london courts. Then various prisoners would get allocated a prison to go to and would get back onto a sweatbox a go to the allocated prison.
      I think police use it now as somewhere to stop off and have a lunch break and a cigarette.
      A train went past in the video, passengers can look down into the premises, you will see that they even have a couple of petrol pumps to fill up the cars inside.
      If you listen to former london cons doing podcasts, you'll hear a few of them mentioning Lambeth holding cells was where people got robbed by other cons, before they went off to their allocated prisons.

    It never fails to amaze me that the Police Station, building, call it what you like are watching the auditors via CCTV, and rather than send one/some of their OWN officer/s out to engage, they make a phone call so units from a station miles away have to arrive. In this case it's even more ironic when they were told the building is a call centre! There must be a reason but I can't think of one. Further waste of plods time and taxpayers money in fuel.

    The Aston probably is owned by a call handler as CAD used to stand for Computer Aided Dispatch where you would dial 999 and they would dispatch a unit to you.Used to be a good pub down the road called The Penny Black.

    • @iainmaturin8460
      @iainmaturin8460 Před 2 lety

    When police approach you should ask if they have read the police Chief Constables Association memo and if they have maybe consider calling an ambulance for those with paranoia of a camera.
