You basically pay $25 USD to upload one item for the first time. Then it’s almost $15 bux every item you upload after. Why’d would I spend so much money for something I can buy on the catalog as bad as it is for 4 times the amount of items.
Public ugc is actually a great idea for people who didn't get into ugc program but i really hope that roblox will do something against bad ugc, ugc copies, innopropriate ugc

Man, i really appreciate how you mention that it costs 750 robux far into the video after I've followed all the steps. I can't afford that and I'm mad that i just spent all this time just to met with a major roadblock that isn't mentioned anywhere else at the start of the video.

Ok, but think about this for a second. The main reason many people actually want to make ugc is because they want to make lots of Robux from it. And the people that want to get it are the people that don’t have much of it. So it would have been wise to at least put a warning or a disclaimer at the start of the video

@@pelcaan it’s a step by step tutorial, what you’re supposed to do is follow along.
Plugins that you should have:
1. Show UGC Bounds by Osyris (Shows you the boundary constraints for the accessory type you chose to make sure you fit your big items in the bounds or it will not upload.)
2. Asset Creator by Stickmasterluke (Lets you create the accessories from your mesh)
3. UGC Custom Thumbnail Tool by Roblox Resources (To take your thumbnail picture of your item for the catalog.)
In studio for more rig options, just click Avatar, then click Rig Builder and there you can find other rigs for 1.0 and 3.0 avatars depending on your items.
roblox wasnt broken, for the upload texture thing to show, you have to save the game (you just opened a new baseplate so it wasnt saved)

@@MuscleMan_419 oh no it might be worthwhile, if you can start a career or roblox UGC it might be good to start a new career with the experience. Plus, DevEX might give you a bit of money out of it.
The reason the meshID thing did pop-up is because you did not publish the game you just opened baseplate and not saved it, when you save the game it pop-ups
For that part that you mentioned in the upload the id , you have to upload the game that your making it in to roblox. Then it should work :D

Do you have a video explaining how to adjusting a hats "bounding size" I can't find any videos on how to do so. Even then,I chose mine as classic, it's dimensions are 2.98, 2.04, 1.84 and the max is 3,4,3. I've adjusted the hat size multiple times in blender and roblox studio. How do I get around this?

The reason that the add texture popup didn't show up was because your roblox place has to be saved to roblox for that to pop up, it's kinda odd why it does that, but it does

I recommend just not putting it on sale because you wouldn't make any profit at all for limiteds and if it's not limited then you need to be sure that people will get it. Just upload it for personal use, and that's it.

If you’re willing to make an investment, make a low quantity limited. Then make it so it costs around 100 robux. Then because they spent 100 robux for a low quantity item, when it is resold, it will take a huge gain in value so that you will get a lot more money from resales.

Hey, @SharkBlox if you'd figured out why it doesn't work, it's all good. But if you didn't, here's why it didn't work at 3:34: for some reason, you need to first save the world first and then it would the texture id function features would work properly. I don't know why, it happened to me also (confused as you), but I hope this helped you out :D
