I. Personal Background: How I Learned This Principle
A. The Lord waits to hear from Israel a prayer of total desperation (Zech. 14: 1-3)
1. No other hope-no other source of help
2. This applies also to individual salvation
B. The Lord waits-in order to show grace and mercy (Is. 30: 18).
We also must wait-this intensifies longing and dependence.
C. The Lord allows His people to come to the verge of utter destruction (Deut. 32: 23-
27)-then intervenes to silence the boasting of the adversary
D. The utter helplessness of God’s people provokes His compassion-also exposes the
total ineffectiveness of all false gods (Deut. 32: 36-38)
E. The Lord alone has the power of life or death-salvation or destruction-our prayer
must be based on this realization (Deut. 32: 39-40)

G. God waits for iniquity to become fully ripe (Ps. 92: 7)

I sat under the ministry of Derek Prince in the 80's and learned principles. Now in 2021 I am tremendously moved by Holy Spirit through this same man to be a spiritual warrior for the USA for such a time as this!
Sometimes I feel Derek is looking down from Heaven and is being shown how his teachings are still spread far and wide, and people like me find comfort in his teachings at 4 in the morning when it is dark and lonely.

I can resonate with this. I had reached this point. Utter desperation somehow is an understatement. You practically backed yourself into a corner with no possible way out. And this is when the glory of Jesus stands aloud and he comes like a super hero out to get you outta the darkness. Gotta love Jesus.

I cant stop craying thank you Jesus Yeshua and pastor Derek.
I believe that God does protect us from our enemy's, and believe me, I have seen it. It's so bad that the evil spirits are all around us trying to steal, kill and destroy. It takes me a long time putting armor on, sprinkling myself (asking Jesus ), with Jesus, s precious Blood. Then praying to extract evil spirits that sneak in from self. Not counting how many people I pray for, for change in them! Derrick is right about things getting worst!

I was led to this man in 2006 and I have never regretted it one minute. When I hear him today I have the Holy Spirit on me so! It is so strong and I love knowing that those words still carry the strength of the Spirit of God today.

It's strange but I believe God had separated me from the chaos that's in New York City. As of June this year I was brought safety to Medellin, Colombia. On the surface, one would never consider going to Colombia based on it's violent history 30 years ago. However, since I have been here I feel peace that was non-existent in New York. This separation in ways reminds me of Paul's journey into Arabia after his conversion. I will not speculate what God has planned for me but it's apparent I must abide by whatever He commands me to do. I only hope I have the wisdom to see and follow through with the Lord. I thank God Almighty for leading me to Derek Prince who was annointed to preach the gospel.
He’s indeed humble in service
I didn't even know this was a biblical teaching or something that would warrant a video by Derek Prince but a week ago I've been praying to God for something out of complete desperation, feeling like there's absolutely nothing that can be done without God's grace. Without his intervention. A lot of what is said in this video is what I believe God was doing in that moment. I will never stop praying for this.

For the LORD will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that >their power is gone< and there is none remaining, bond or free.
This age will finally close when the remnant in Israel, under unpresedented tribulation, are brought to a complete and utter end of *their power* (self-reliance, self-sufficiency, self-confidence, self-assuredness etc) *Then* they will gaze upon Him whom they pierced.

Yesterday my wife and I stopped to grocery shop at Grocery Outlet here in Klamath Falls and I met a sad man, though he was jovial. I was fasting already, and I sensed this guy needed Jesus so I quipped about forever. His answer was, he was 45 and didn't want forever because of the terrors of this world. So I held him and prayed for his eyes to be open to see "the joy" in Christ. I asked him if he knew Jesus, and he affirmed yes, he was a Christian! He had just lost sight of his salvation. To make a long story short, he cried and thanked me. We parted and Michael went his way. But I was so blown away by the change when God uncovered his jovial facadé, and then the joy transformation. God, you are amazing!
