Hi Marci, because of you I decided to go see my sons ears. Because of you, you gave me hope and to believe in myself as a mom. My son is finally speaking and he now says alot of words, he sings songs like head shoulders while also touching the head and the shoulders. He says bus everytime he sees the bus. We now have 3 weeks holiday and we’ll work even more. Thank you so much, you are God sent

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm so glad you followed your hope and belief to take new action and become your child's facilitator! CONGRATULATIONS on the progress YOU have facilitated and keep up the good work. By the end of the summer, you could see that chatterbox emerging.

Do late talkers and/or VA children make noises? My 3.5 year old is talking a lot more thanks to your strategies, but he still makes these "noises"... maybe vocal stims? I'm not sure that's even what he is..he hums and makes repetitive sounds. For example.. he says "chin chin chin" over and over but is patting his chin or others chins while he does it. 😂

Verbal and vocal stim and repetitive speech is common for late talkers with VA. There are a few videos here on the channel to address these issues and work through the phase more quickly. My workshop also has the step-by-step process. You can access my whole training library at www.wavesofcommunication.com/community
