  • In this video I will show you how I built a sheet metal and offcuts storage rack. For a long time now my sheet metal and offcuts have just been stacked up against various walls in the workshop. This is a very in-efficient way of storing them as most of the time I have no idea what I actually have. When I need a piece of material I often have to move a lot of other materiel to get to the piece I want. The sheet metal and offcuts storage rack solves this problem by neatly organising and segregating the various materials into there own separate compartments. Primarily it will be used as a sheet metal storage rack but I will also use it as a lumber rack as well.
Having the sheet metal and offcuts storage rack on wheels makes it mobile and easy to move around in the workshop. It also means I can store it right up against a wall to take up less space then just pull it out when I need to get something off the back side of the rack.
    Materials:
    45mm x 45mm x 3mm steel angle
    100mm casters
    12mm hardwood plywood
    Hammerite smooth blue paint
Light oak quick dry wood stain
    3mm 6013 electrodes
I hope you enjoyed this video. Remember to SHARE & SUBSCRIBE.
    Cheers.
