- Building a twinkling LEGO star for the top of our tree. I'm using some Technic pieces and a motor to make the points of the star move in and out in an alternating sequence.

Nice job. This is one video where the thumb nail didn't do it justice

Apart from the golden circle in the middle with the single stud, I couldn’t even tell it was LEGO at first. Nice job in the build.
at first, same but then i saw JK Brickworks so yeah then i knew
The whole design process was very enlightening (no pun intended), so many genius techniques used! Definitely taking notes from this. Thanks for putting out these very detailed documentations of your building processes, you’re a gift to the community (again, no pun intended)!
Cheers, glad you enjoy them!
INTEND YOUR PUNS
Impossible to dislike anything you build, keep up the great videos and even better builds man!
Yea but youtube won't let us dislike things now so it dosent really matter anymore
@@Erwin_Von_Heidenheim Haha, plebs not using a bypass (for the little time it still works).
Both psychologically and physically!
When he places the bricks its soooo satisfying.
This should be a line of sets! I’d buy Lego Christmas decorations. Very tasteful
Amazing build! Also, great technique for six-sided shapes! Perfect spacing!
mr.JK your mind is very creative , A STAR THE MOVES!? THATS AMAZING
I've always felt like there wasn't enough gold lego pieces to go about. I was trying to make some golden statue MOCs a couple years ago and I found that it was very hard to do.
The sets 76165, 10266, and 76191 all have a decent number of metallic gold pieces, however they were all released after 2019 so prior to that there were very few pieces in that colour
That turned out awesome! Really creative.
I feel same.
Yeah that's pretty cool
bro took "twinkle twinkle little star" to a new level
Bro the AUDIO.Sheeesh bro it sounds satisfying
The moment I saw the title, I knew I was in for an ASMR experience. Then I read it again, and the memories of Dead Space’s trailer flooded in. I’m watching this well into the night.
…crud.
Oh, so nice! I love such small lego mechanisms
I feel same.
this is insane Christmas tree decoration, not huge yet still functional
The hole time i was like man it's not gonna look like a twinkle star... Then when I saw it work I smiled and was like wow that beautiful
Usually I'm not a fan of 3rd party Lego accessories. But man those circuit cubes are too good NOT to use
They are definitely useful for adding motorization into tight spaces.
I have never seen those spikey white pieces and the golden one either. Pretty cool build that is. Even without the mechanism!
Beauty
This guy is the sethbling of lego bricks
That was such a nice build! I love it. I have a suggestion: would it be possible to have the pulses a little offset so that the positions of the three outward-moving points would be a little staggered? Maybe that wouldn't be as reminiscent of a twinkling star, but I was wondering what it would look like if the three points moving together weren't quite so synchronized -- not sure. In any case, the build was awesome and the star looks great.
Merry Brickmas !!!
Incredible as always! Well done!
I feel same.
Ok that's freaking awesome!!
Incredible design
I feel same.
Im a 31yo female, but I've always loved Lego. Love your videos. Also, you have really nice hands. I hope that's not too weird.
Star is Born
I love Lego, it can be anything, too bad I'm too broke to get any more pieces, I usually build the actual thing you were supposed to build with it first but after a couple of weeks I just dismantle it and make it into anything my imagination desires.
This is the way.
Dang boy that’s pretty smooth
Looking amazing! The builds are always so satisfying!
That's why I subscribed to him because he makes so good content!!
Very satisfying
That was awesome, I was actually sitting here smiling all by myself. 😃
It soo cool I am sure it'll look fabulous on your christmas tree
You’re a genius.
Great job Jason! Merry Christmas!
Cheers, thanks, to you as well!
Nice a built in rotary engine always like to see those
Always amazed by your builds, great work!
I feel same.
I was hoping it lights up but this is nice.

Merry Christmas Jason! Thanks for all your gifts and creations!
Great build!
Looks like an enemy character from Super Mario World
This is amazing!!!
So clever! I think it would look cool if the sliding tiles were gold too
Really cool
Love it!!
Well done build, I love this, perfect for Christmas.
Ok that look cool
This is just gorgeous
It remains to make a mechanical snow globe, and you can celebrate the New Year)
It reminds me of that one bike tire made out of boots that Colin made lol
You make it sound satisfying man now you make me play with lego but good job with the build
Beautifully built design! And I love the satisfaying clicks of the lego pieces!
Also, nice for you to put your planning in the subtitles!
Amazing!
This has gotta be a Lego ideas set
I LOVE it !
I didn’t even know this was lego on how realistic it looks. you did a great job (:
this rocks !!!
The bad thing about this when Christmas is over
man I wish I had pieces like that
Nice job. It looks so elegant. Merry Christmas

🎄🎁🎅🔔❄🍫⛄️⭐️
I accidentally clicked on this and I don’t regret it
looks kool
Its like a radial motors
Bravo
Cool
My mind must've played a trick on me, but once the motor started going, I could hear twinkle twinkle little star.
This is over engineering in the best possible way
Happy Holidays and keep on building, great video.. maybe I'll think about building some makeshift ornaments outta LEGO sometime
Merry Christmas :)
What abt building a christmas tree in real life scale?:) Ur one of the bets builders ive seen!!
That star's beautiful and all, but you might wanna replace those shiny gold pieces. (For the Lego Infinity Gauntlet, I meant.)
dude how do you get these ideas. Truly amazing and very fun to watch!
Silent night, holy night....
_BSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE...!!!_
This could be a pretty cool snowflake design as well
Wow! ( not sarcastic for once )
Out of the East a star shone bright, To three kings hath it given light, Who travelled far by day and night
I wanna see you use the LED blocks.
Very nice Star! Did you ever try building a functional Rubics Cube? I would love to see that:)
I haven't, but others have. I believe there are some pretty good ones out there.
I now understand the appeal to ASMR
My brain isn't able to Process that 3x1 Plates with 2 technic Studs on top exist
1:06 (turn on captions) "I like these pentagonal pieces for their pointiness."
cheers i put one on my lego gun
Hey JK!
In fear of insulting you, your video on the Statue of Liberty facelift might be your most important and usefull video to date (obviously your builds and sculptures are amazing too!).
I was wondering if you'd be willing to try something similar for the Wizards Chess set? I feel like the chess pieces aren't really true to the movie depictions, and I'm sure there are ways to "facelift" the pieces, as you'd put it, using only parts that came in the set. I'd be really thrilled to see how you'd go about improving the set!
If you ever have the time and lack of video ideas, I'm sure others would appreciate it as well
This needs to be a kit! Can you post a parts list?
You should have submitted this to the stars for good thing LEGO did
I saw this on Reddit
@JK Brickworks, I have a question. Whenever you start building something new, do you ever take something apart that you built like along time ago or do you use the extra Lego pieces in your Lego containers that you haven't used yet? Just wondering🤔
A bit of both. I do have quite a few older models still assembled, but most of them get taken apart eventually to make more stuff.
twinkle twinkle lego star
👏👏👏
