I got a Tesla fanboy at work. He thinks the stock is going to $1000 because of robo taxis. I asked him if he ever rode a taxi in NYC. Did he notice how they all smell like puke and piss? Now imagine those taxi's without someone in them. Who in their right mind will want to ride in one after someone deuced in it. What if people jump in front of one and the sides? What will the Tesla do? My guess is stop. They bash in the windows, steal everything they can. I am sure those computer chips will be worth more than a catalytic converter. It has already happened in San Francisco. They destroyed a self driving car for the fun of it.
