椰奶 400 毫升
全脂牛奶 250 毫升
水 250 毫升
白砂糖 125 克
魚膠粉/吉利丁粉 26 克

跟大家说一下溶解鱼胶粉的方法,把糖跟鱼胶粉一起放在一个干燥的容器里,搅拌均匀,然后把所需要的水烧开倒进去,慢慢搅拌至清澈就好了,如果温度不够,可以隔水加热再搅拌一下

Hi Tasty, I tried your recipe because it looked so good and you didn't need as much gelatine as other recipes on CZcams. I found that I ended up with two layers; the coconut milk floated to the top and the bottom was mainly a clear colour. I did wait a long time for the cooked mixture to cool down before putting it in the refrigerator. What suggestions do you have so my final product is a homogeneous colour? Thanks ;-)
I also found mine to be the same.. Seems that my gelatine wasn't melted away enough, but the top where there was no gelatine still formed a good texture.. So I'm planning to boil for longer hopefully to let it melt more or sift the gelatine in the end before putting into the refridgerator.
Answer for anyone in the future that also has this problem:
It could be possible that you heated it too long. Over boiling coconut milk or cream tends to make it split. It could also be from letting it cool for too long before letting it set; the same reason why it also has a split in the can. This can be helped by mixing it occasionally as it cools.

Your water, milk and coconut measurements are a lot more to solidify 26 grs of gelatin. I think your gelatin powder should be more than 26 grs. I tried 2 times, the gelatin didn’t solidify even chilled for 24 hrs.

I tried making it today but when I tasted it, the top was hard like wax. The bottom was like regular jello but why isn’t it all soft and squishy like yours? Did I do something wrong to have the top harden?
I recently got a load of coconuts. I saw how coconut milk was made from the grated coconut meat. I husked shelled grated and put it through my juicer. I got about 2 oz per coconut.
Fresh REAL coconut milk is so good you will never know what you are missing until you try it. The stuff in a can tastes like stuff from a can. It's terrible compared to fresh. It will take me at least 4 hours to make a couple cups of it for peanut sauce but I will do it. Fresh coconut milk is like heavy cream.
Note: don't put chunks of coconut meat in your juicer only grated.
@Mesh Grow Bags Have you tried making this dessert using your homemade coconut milk? I bet it would be delicious. I grew up eating fresh coconut and know the canned milk tastes nothing like the real thing! The only coconuts I can get locally are what are sold in the chain grocery stores, so they aren’t on the green side. I want to try making this because if I substitute a diet sweetener for the sugar it will be a low carb dessert and they are hard to find! Coconut is my favorite.
@Mesh Grow Bags I just found that there is both coconut milk and coconut cream. The coconut cream separates from the coconut milk when the coconut slurry is allowed to sit. I think what you are making is a combination of both the cream and milk which is what I’m used to. So delicious! I can’t wait to try making it.

做出來很好吃!可是糖真的可以減少至少1/4 我下了100g是可以接受的甜度不過感覺少一半也可以。而且不知道為什麼做出來會分層(下面一半是透明的而上面一半是白色的)不過還是好好吃!謝謝分享!

I use palm sugar. Refined sugar is not healthy. It tastes better without milk. And l add pandan leaf to make it smell good. I use agar-agar instead of gelatin
