How to link AHD & IP CCTV Camera networks together into one large CCTV Camera installation

This video shows how to create Large CCTV Camera networks, combining multiple AHD and IP Camera networks together to form one large CCTV Camera network.
This video shows you how you can combine both AHD and IP Camera networks together and make them function as one network.

The computer can be placed anywhere that you find suitable. You can even place the computer at a remote location example is in this video

For using a TV screen, just as you may use the TV as a monitor for your NVR, you can still use the TV as a monitor to the computer hosting the VMS.
The recordings can be done onto the NVR whiles you also record on the computer too or however you wish to have it.

1. AHD stands for Analogue High Definition whiles IP stands for Internet protocol.
2. All AHD Cameras are Analogue cameras whiles IP Cameras are digital cameras
3. AHD Camera pictures or videos may vary between sharp pictures and bad pictures, just like the old Analogue tv system where your pictures could at time be clear and at other times very bad. For digital cameras, it is either extremely sharp in picture quality of off, there is not intermediary between purely clear pictures or off. This is the reason why digital signals are referred to as binary systems where you have either 1 or 0, where one connotes clear picture and 0 connotes off.
I will do short video on this interesting explanations, watch out for that very soon.

There are two ways to it.
1. Being on the same local area network creates a common ground for the devices to work without the use of Internet.
2. If the devices are not connected to the same network (LAN), you will require internet to have them communicate. In such a case, you will need to use the cloud IDs of the devices keyed into the software to have them see or communicate together.

The IP addresses are generated automatically by the router for each camera.
Every IP camera acts just like any other device on a network.
The cameras can be viewed on WAN once internet is available on the router.

The IP addresses of the DVR and the NVR will always be different so long as they are connected to the same router. You can let them acquire their own IP addresses by choosing DHCP on the NVR and DVR

There is a VMS for every brand of camera but once your brand is ONVIF Compliant, it should work with the Jovision VMS. However, compatible is a big issue when combining these technologies and so using products from thesame manufacturer is highly recommended.
