I remember after the Linares-Haney fight, Haney went over to Linares' locker to ask if he punches harder than Loma. Jorge was beating around the bush saying that Haney has power, but was too reserved in giving him a straight answer. Jorge answered it in this interview. Linares and Canelo have always been my favorite boxers to watch.
Linares in his prime was a joy to watch. In the past couple or few years, he's really impressed me as a quick, astute, and straightforward analyst, as well. (And who doesn't like Jorge?)

Haney wants people to to think that he is levels above Ryan but I don’t see that as so I think they both have skills and it has brought both fighters to this anticipated showdown that they have envisioned every since they turned pro. The competition they both fighters have fought have been a test as a pro and there records are really good.the 2 former champions that Haney has gone the distance with I think Ryan would have stopped them both I’m talking about, kambosis, and Regis prograis. So the levels that Haney is speaking of isn’t reality. Because in my opinion Ryan Garcia will be his toughest opponent to date. And the slow pace boxing style that Haney comes in with is right down Ryan alley . That gives Ryan a even more chance of winning because Haney is not a stalker he doesn’t pressure his opponents he takes what you give him from a distance Ryan is not a pressure fighter either but when he sees opening s he attacks swiftly with hand speed and power shots. If Ryan can with stand haneys big punches than he has power shots that can and will put Haney into serious trouble. If Ryan can land his power shots first he will set the tone to victory. And I believe he will knock Haney out or a stoppage by the ref haney won’t be able to hold like in other fights Ryan will ruff house him with wicked body shots and to the head the left hook to the body is awesome. And to the head.

Jorge Linares reminds me of Tim Thomas from the NBA. Lots of talent but didn't work hard to improve his game. Once he reached the NBA, he stopped improving like what Linares did when he won a world title, he also stopped improving and working hard

Nice to see Linares doing well. He was a very good fighter. First time I saw him fight was when he beat Oscar Larios for his first world title. That was an impressive performance.
Jorge Linares had one of the most beautiful fluid boxing styles I've seen in 35 years watching this sport. His chin and his skin kept him from being the top of the tops, but he had a fantastic career and it was fun to watch.
